Hey man, I'm new too, but a bad EA can blow a 100,000 account in 2 days (done that - thank goodness it was a demo...). You need to know enough to have your own confidence without asking open-ended questions. You get that from trading, and demo accounts are free.

I started to read from page 1 to last discussing about this EA and it seems profitable. Is it still relevant for 2014 because I interested to buy it. but why there is no refund policy?

what's this question???
nobody know how the market will move and so if the EA will be profitable or not, like any forex strategy and EA they can stop working at any time.
when you compare sPhantom to other EA if the past is like the future then 2014 may be profitable for us!
take a look at Kangaroo EA, which is another great one, recently hits its first SL after 2 years of positive trading, 20% lost

Because there is no refund. If you want to risk 299$ then make like me and pay, if not, no.

I did not yet buy SPhantom and would like members to comment if they are still experiencing trades not closing properly.
A few pages back SPhantom mentioned he fixed this problem so is the close trade fix working?
I t would be nice if the copier would issue a global close order command similar to how Simpletrader operates.
Regardless of broker ticks and market price, all open orders are shut and closed by Simpletrader's copier.
I hope this was the nature of this fix

I have taken the plunge and my account is connected and verified; is there anything else I need to do? I'm assuming the reason I haven't seen any trades is that they haven't made any, but I don't actually know.
Is the account in myfxbook the actual account our trades are copying?

not sure if its the source of the signal, but you can follow it to know if there is trade opened or not.
as of today I don't miss any trade and all has been closed correctly, no issue at all for me.

This EA is not a frequent trader. Will trade 3, maybe 5 times a week. You can follow their acct on myfxbook. If they have an open trade, you should too, and vice versa.
BigSteve: I was having the same problem. Once I set the Hide SL TP to true, that seems to have solved it.

You just sit tight without doing anything since it is connected and verified. So far from i have observed, no new position is opened since 20/12/2013. You can search this EA here to see and compare their LIVE account if to match yours.

From what I've read on previous pages sometimes there is also human involvement, but mostly an EA working on their server.

I just turn sPhantom in my account and I follow the last trade,
the history sPhntom gain of 2,95%, but on my account only increased 0.95%, is there something wrong with my settings?
i just follow setting as the guide
my english realy bad , i use google translet

you manage the risk your self its why the growth is not the same.
they are using an high risk setting, 25 or 30 while the default value is 10.
so you can raise the risk to match their growth rate... but if there is a SL hitted... you'll lost more too :)
