India Government Budget Value
The discrepancy between government revenues and expenses is referred to as the government budget balance. When outlays equal receipts, the budget is balanced, when revenues exceed expenses, the country declares a budget surplus, and when expenses exceed revenues, the country reports a budget deficit. When referring to the government budget value in India, it refers to the total amount of the central government's fiscal deficit throughout the course of the current fiscal year.

India GDP Growth Climbs To 8.4% In December Qtr
India's economic growth improved strongly to 8.4 percent year-on-year in the December quarter from 7.6 percent in the previous three months, preliminary estimates from the statistics ministry showed Thursday. Economists had forecast the growth rate to slow to 6.6 percent.

India Central Bank Maintains Policy Stance
The Reserve Bank of India decided to leave its benchmark interest rates unchanged for the sixth straight session on Thursday as inflation tends to remain in the upper band of the target range.
