I guess Risk management includes money management, trade management and trading knowledge. In my opinion lack of knowledge can also cause a big risk in your trading.

I read all these advice in many forum topics addressed to beginners or traders who`s not profitable, and its easy to see that most ppl on this site just simply ignore Fundamental analysis!! I`m really curious why that is? Do you guys think fundamental analysis is so insignificant that most of the time it`s not even worth mentioning it?Bcoz how I see it, the price mostly moves based on the fundamentals, so I think it is really something that everyone should get into a little bit at least.So if you wanna be a good trader, i strongly advise you to get into and start reading about it, and in time ...

fundamental analysis, technical analysis, money/risk management, trading psychology.... they all matter, if you are not on top of any of these then you`re gonna lose your money.

High Leverage

I think retail traders with small capital tend to use high leverage. For example a pro trader inside a bank or a firm managing millions of dollars would be happy with around 20% annual return and their risk management is totally different so they dont use high leverage or probably they dont use leverage at all.On the other hand most of us retail traders, we play around with our 1k accounts and for us earning 20%=$200 a year, is not a very good return. I think as the trading capital grows, it decreases the leverage over time.Like... i dont really care if i lose $100 on a trade on my 1k account,...

Well it will depend on the ongoing risk sentiment of the time, if the US China trade war makes some progress by the time the brexit stuff settles, it`ll be more risk on, so in that scenario we would see some JPY weakness therefore GBYJPY looks a better choice for me. But obviously nothing is certain, so we`ll see what happens and decide accordingly.

Don not use leverage, that way stop loss become much less important.... So you can start focus on your actual trading strategy instead of worrying about losses.
