I use fundamental analysis because I want to understand why the market moves the way it does. The fundamentals tell you where the market likely to go in the future, indicators only tell you what happened in the past. Until I don`t know which currencies I wanna trade, I wont even look at a chart, its pointless. Once i have an idea where certain currencies likely to go next based on fundamental analysis, only then I open up the charts and base my entry, SL, and TP on some basic technical stuff.Id say my strategy is around 90% fundamental and 10% technical analysis.That 10% includes RSI, some sup...

90% are loser bcoz they are taught to use the wrong methods when trading the fx market.Get rich quick mentality, and then seeing a fancy indicator or 2 that looks really pretty on the chart and that`s that. the technical analysis is sold in the wrong way. I just don`t know what you`re talking about... you don`t make sense. if i had 5 million, i would never ever use leverage again. Thats the best risk management bcoz your account can easily survive a move even as big as the CHF one few years ago. All i would need to do is make on average a few hundred pips monthly, that would get me lets say 4-5% return which is about 50% return in a year, i guess you can calculate 50% of 5 million... which bank does that for you?Ive read this "argument" in this thread and i think that vontogr dude knows what he`s talking about, but you are, my friend,...

I just dont get how the yen flash crash could ruin your account, that you keep saying, since even with 50 lots on a 5m account the worst result was no more than 4% loss with that 400pips that happened. or do you even leverage up like crazy an account like that?Coz without leverage ppl shouldn`t even use stop losses, so you`d be perfectly fine.

i didnt receive my account details either, but i logged in to fixi website i found my demo account there and then i reseted my password, so i could log in to mt4,hope it helps you guys who has the same issue

Stop loss hunting is real, but it`s not done by your broker. (as long as you use a fully regulated one)It`s done by big firms and banks, etc.. that are trading the amount of money I can`t even imagine. For example, if a rally is kinda obvious and everyone is getting in buying, they can`t really do the same thing bcoz they`d get a huge slippage and not a lot of profit, instead what they do is, they have the ability (and amount of money) to drive the price lower into obvious support levels and previous lows where most ppl are placing they stop losses (aka sell orders), so they can absorb all tha...

I was curious and checked out that link... it`s kind of a long video but i stopped watching it after a minute when i saw the "big, bold, statement" that it begins with. That was the most ridiculous statement about forex I`ve ever seen in my life... I might continue watching it an other day when I`m in a bad mood, to cheer myself up with a good laugh.

In my poinion you can determinate market trend based ONLY on news analysis. When you see a strong trend, it`s sure that there`s a fundamental reason behind it.

Probably all the currently successful traders got a similar arrogant advice at the begining of their journey in trading, and yet, they still became succesful anyway in the end. We cannot achieve anything without trying. Like with everything else in our life, instead of lining up COUNTLESS EXCUSES why we CAN`T, we have to focus on finding ONE SOLUTION how we CAN. Living life without trying, even if the odds are not on our side, is like waiting for death in silence.
