Usually to see If a strategy is invalidated u have simply to run a long term tick datas BTs, then run a Monte Carlo analisys (If someone don't know what it is just Google). It gives the Worse Case Scenario (after hundreds of iterations of the trades it shows the max drawdown to be expected with the % of probability to reach this. Please, can u share your insight on Keltner? why it should not work anymore? it is a possibility, but your assertion is based on what? WCS based on Monte Carlo analysis reached, some other statistical observation? or by a simply gut of feeling (in Italy we say based on "morons feeling"); or simply u are posting here to catch attention on your systems?If u have a profitable systems is simply: create your myfxbook and wait for people making comments on it.

"Memento mori" 😁Keltner is not a necessary medicine, if you do not like simply skip and go ahead. I am in good gain with Keltner and imo the actual DD period is nothing special or to worry about. Long term BTs shows that stagnation periods can be also much longer (2 years and more). Of course none can assurde us that a strategy will continue to work, but now i do not see any sign that this strategy becane obsolete. Completely agree: run Keltner with 0.01 for each 1k and u will not suffer in DD periods. If the account is small u can also run at 0.02 x 1K. If u want to earn more, do not rise the risk, but simply diversify ur EA portfolio with some other good strategy

Not unfortunately there is no easy way to earn from trading. It requires a lot of work and attention, also about Automated trading. The most difficult is in discerning EAs which potentially can be profitable from craps. You have no guarantee, but splitting ur funds on several "good" strategies You have good chances

This happens for most of the scalpers and is absolutely normal. A scalper should be evaluated on a real account. Anyway consider that the real account here is on Fort FS, a cent account broker, which is for sure not the best option for a scalper. it should be used on some ECN raw spread account like IC Markets or similar, not only for spread but also for datafeed, execution etc.

Seems that FGProbot EA is not anymore available for downloading. Anyway from the BTs showed in the web, the FGProbot settings are very similar to the Forex Growth Bot settings, so seems confirmed that Keltner is not a clone: they are 2 completely different eas: Kletner a BO on Keltner channels; FG PG something more close to FGB (they do not use Keltner channels at all)

Have started to read the forum where FGProbot is shared and up to know seems that this is not based on Keltner channels but on price action. Anyway will continue to read the forum and will also start to run this EA in demo, but for the moment does not seems to use the same strategy of Keltner.PS: had 3 winera on usdchf

June was a bad month for all BOs and volatilty based EAs (after a fantastic May). It is a part of the game: DD and long stagnation periods: these cannot be avoided: the more filters u add the less profit u will have; the better is to set a low risk (of course also gains will be smaller). Said this noone assure us nothing: markets are unpredictable

It dependes for the balance of the account and the importance it has for you. If the balance is not small for you and the trading account for your is important, i would use something like 0.01 x 1K. Otherwise i would go also for 0.02 x 1K. I use slightly higher lots for EU, then for GU and lower for UC, so i do not use the same risk for the pairs: i have based this on the longterm backtests, which clearly shows that the better pair is EU (also if in the last months Gu performed much better). I consoder this a longterm strategy and will accept also the losing streak and the stagnation period.

I am using it from many months and trades overall match with vendor and ForexGermany account. Imo a very good strategy; people complain because it can have a long losing streak if trades, and stagnation period can be very long too, but these are charachteristics of every brakout or volatility based EA. Use a moderate risk and let it run

Today showed why simply systems with good risk reward ratio are succesfull: they can go in DD, can have long stagnation periods, but till when the strategy is still valid they always recover. Today a very good day for Keltner and other BOs (fortunately am running a total of 4 BOs and all of them today have scored very high gain today and the whole month of May, with huge returns).
