USD CAD touched the bottom of its channel on H4 @ 1.3442.. I suspect a possible move up to 1.3505 and ultimately 1.3570on the flip side, it could go back to 1.3426 amd 1.3390 but my bias is upward today.good luck to everyone

USDCAD testing the H4 20 SMA around 3490 ... nice correction... a move up would suggest a re-test of 1.3535 and possibly 1.3570 , daily 20 SMA..

indeed, ranging market for USDCAD this past friday... the 1.3450 support appears hard to break.. , still on the corrective side.. trying to get back in the trend... if you look at other CAD pairs , for ex: EUR-CAD, nice trend on friday, reacting to the daily 20 SMA nicely.. good luck to us all

I agree with dianajs, clear break yesterday calls for more downward movement, but patience for the price to vome back to break point (previous support) around 1.3470 is key to successful trade imho good luck to all N

yet another day for USD/CAD staying in a bearish move with a second strong bullish reaction when approaching the 1.3295 level (weekly 20 SMA), but as long as the daily candle keeps closing under H4 20 SMA, now resting at 1.3345, the tendancy remains bearish, although it is closing in slowly after a rather extensive ranging market for the past few weeks.. whether the market will resume its bullish expansion, or continue its correction towards the 1.32 level...good luck to you all N

indeed, the trend isn't ending soon.. NFP friday and rate decision next week, we should see a correction sooner or later but the greenback is strong !! gold and oil falling.. will it end around 1.3550 ish ?? tbc..

indeed. already reached the 127% monthly fib expansion.. expecting a correction sooner than later.. and with NFP friday.. anything can happen.. 1.3457 is a very strong resistance. the one that was broken in early 2016 and lead to 1.47...

Most definitely a nice rallye.. not only did it NOT give us a break at the 161.8% weekly fib expansion, it is heading for january's high / this week's 127% fib expansion around 1.34.. at this point, in my opinion we should see a retracement until around 1.3280-1.33 zone before it goes back up to it's next level mentioned by FX Tools.. ( I see 1.3540 ish..) To be noted, today, thursday, the move seems a lot less volatile showing the bullish move is losing steam and getting ready to give a chance to the bears to do their thing.. good luck everyone :)

seems like we have contradicting views offered here.. ;)My view is that given the bullish start this week and the recent break of 1.3210 this morning... we should see 1.3250 -1.3280 in the near future .. and if the god of Fx shall bless us all, it will give us an entry around 1.33 to SHORT like kids on christmas day.. PS let's not forget the BOC interest rate decision tomorrow .. nothing is expected there.. meaning a continued bullish move until the abovementioned levels are met talk to you soon guys :)

Guys , keep in touch, I love those comments !!I totally agree with you, 1.32 being the 38% retracement of last month's candle, there should definitely be some activity around that level.. good luck :)

it appears that with what UC did in January.. it will be tough to go above 1.32 ish.. before it falls back down under 1.30.. it barely reached the monthly 38.2% fib.. before it went right back down.. all I want (in total honesty) is to see it MOVE.. this past week was the most boring of all with 40-50 pips days.. and multiple dojis ... give us momentum & volatility ohhh Fx god.. 😉good luck to you all
