Why do you need to make 40% return anyway? A 10% monthly return compounded will double your capital over about nine months. If you can afford to leave your capital in, starting with $5000 in five years you would have over a million in your account. There is far too much short term thinking in forex, which is what generally leads to people taking unnecessary risks. I would focus on getting a winning strategy that looks good over several years and just keep on top of it. Why don't you ever trade real money?Seriously, everyone knows that order fulfillment on demo accounts is not realistic. In this day and age the only serious way to market an EA is to trade real money, on a real account at a reputable broker.Best regards Steve

I would say 2 1/2 years is fairly long term in forex trading. So you can see it here and it is keeping to a fairly straight trajectory, one of the things that makes this EA so attractive.Best regards Steve

I can tell you about it, it's a tick scalper or similar is my guess and while it appears amazing in back test or a demo account in the real world it will probably make a loss.

Hi, yes sure it can go countertrend. I'm working off the principal that the backtest and live trading results for this EA include all news results and the EA is profitable. You could, as you say, analyse the data against news release date/times and see if excluding the news releases would make the EA more profitable. I think just cutting the news trades out without analysing the result would be unwise as you might be removing some of the most profitable trades.I'd be interested to hear how you get on. I did consider doing it myself but it's will take a fair amount of messing around...

I don't, it's a trend following system. Some news events will go with the trend and some against. It also makes most of it's profit in sudden bursts of activity. Miss one of the runs and you are in a world of hurt.Best regards Steve

On the chart you are running FGB on it says in the top corner Internal = x, External = x.If they are not the same number it means the EA has lost control of positions and you should manually intervene.If it happens continually ( it did to me once ) the solution is to reinstall the EA. Even if you are running the latest version. It seems to solve the problem.It's not unexpected to get different positions than the default account, especially with different broker and VPS combinations. Just monitor your performance in comparison to this one and if it's considerable worse, change something...

Check whether the internal and external numbers ( on the chart ) are the same. If they aren't close it definitely. Also if they aren't the same it's probably worth reinstalling FGB.Best regards Steve

This EA is showing 1.2 pips expectancy on a backtest, the forward demo shows an expectancy of 0.7 pips.DON'T expect this EA to make any money on a live account, slippage on entry and exit will kill it, guaranteed.Why do you think there are no live accounts shown?Best regards Steve
