The noise and the chitchatting is noticeably increased in those systems threads showing some trading success. I want the community to vote for including the option to control who can post a comment by setting a minimum vouch level.

Hi Aimak,

Minimum vouch level is not going to serve the purpose you have in mind. There are some who have sufficient vouches but yet go around trashing everyone's thread for no rhyme or reason. It's probably their way of dealing with their own inferiority complex. 😀 And like you have mentioned, they do this to those who trade profitably.

It would be a better idea if the system owner has the option of banning the noise makers from their thread... just like the admin of a blog is able to do.

But I agree with your basic suggestion, that there has to be some mechanism that allows us to moderate our own thread. Or else Myfxbook staff should deal with these people who exhibit very anti-social and unruly behaviour on other people's threads.

I think we all have a pretty good idea of who these people are. 😉

Hi everybpdy,

I also agree with you all 100%. I just voted YES above.

Those guys who can not make any money, if not to say, lose money to forex market always try to find faults with other profitable traders, and try to criticize everything. This is not a good way. Hope these things should be minimized as much as possible.

Have a nice day !

I think it's kind of a good idea, but if you set up the minimum to 1, 2 or 3 vouches to be able to post a comment, then maybe 60-90% of forum members cannot post anything since they have no vouches at all.

And some people still have 3 vouches, but are noise makers, so this wouldn't work well.

Also banning chosen people from posting on your thread might lead to a situation that somebody allows only positive opinions and all negative are banned no matter if they are right or not.

There should be a system that sieves off those noise makers and everything&everybody haters. I gave a new suggestion in the suggestion box. Waiting for others.

I think it's a bad idea. Slippery slope guys. Now the con can control his own thread. To a degree anyway. If you're going to post a system you have to be prepared to be challenged.

It's through the process of challenge that you can have the dialogue that proves you know what you're doing.

by the way, we can 'block user' in someone profile (suspect). so, we can filter own discussion.

Have to vote no, the ability to block comments is the conmans best tool to avoid negative comments.

On the other hand, a possibility to vote for a specific user banning could be a possible solution - lets say 5 to 10 unique users with a more than 3 months old membership has to vote for banning a user from commenting... Feedback please, and a new suggestion could be started...

Agree with Soeren regaring conmen, however it will end up as a mob rule if people start voting for bans.

best soloution is either for the posts to be reported and admin to deal with acordingly dependent on the members history.

There should also be an ignore button so that members can choose to ignore trolls therby making their posts invisible.
