Normally mt4 will not allow more than 500 open positions, you just can't open more, I can't see any screen shot

Yup, winner should be determined by pips growth, not equity growth, you can just made 100 pip and win the contest if you're using 10,000 lot ( total in a month or 500 lot per trade) for examples, others who made 5,000 pips will got nothing since they're using 0,01 - 2,00 lot (a more managed risk) per say

I was sitting in the top 5 for most of last week then decided to gamble. I would never trade my account like this and don't think contests like these are a good influence on new traders. However, its free, fun & brings out the competitiveness in people and as long as you can switch your mindset back to sensible mode on your real account, then I see no harm in these lotteries.

There should be a rule that you can't trade more than 0.01 for every $250 account balance, so every $1000 would trade a maximum of 0.04,for the competition. Normal trading should be about 0.01 for every $500 account balance to be safe

has anyone else notice that most of the top 10 traders in the competition have blown up every account in the past , how do we know if its luck this time around.. and i see people tracking them. lol i guess it hard to tell a real trader froma lucky one .
i am currently in 73 position of the competition . i hope to advance more this week .

i am out of this competition i have real accouts to manage , and this is casino contest . lol the best i did was 71st spot and iam proud of that . but iam officially done .. if anyone wants to free pips visit me on facebook.com/pendingentry .. i have been giving out pips for 6 months now no loosing weeks yet .

Why would you give up ? You can simultaneously trade accounts just like I do. I know its demo but everything teaches you something ;)
