My friend, I am with you. There is actually a chance that FIFO was created because of me. In April 2008 I started testing a new system. That year was something else, the price was moving constantly. The robot did very well, no losses, but that was expected because the system was a modified grid. What wasn't expected was 300% profit that year. (The average now is only 12%)
Within 6 months of this system being first tested, the announcement came about FIFO, by Aug 2009, it was finished. The grid was used when the price stayed between the historical high and historical lows for the pair. If the price should go out side the historical limits, we put on a hedge. Oh what a coincidence, the other restriction that came about at the same time FIFO did was no more hedging.
This FIFO has never been used in any market anywhere in the world. And it only applies to the Forex market, the way that it is done here.
I suggested a number of times that Americans should invest in an off shore IBC to trade from as the higher percentages that you can get off shore pays for the IBC. I did have an off shore IBC but it is now my intention to leave the US and take up citizenship elsewhere.

We ran into similar issues with FIFO Killing some of our best systems "over night". it took awhile to get around it with something that could still produce steady returns. but it was the same for us as well. we were making a killing. then FIFO struck. we have never used grid systems. but nonetheless it had a major negative impact on a lot of profitable american forex traders.
But because of the new rules, it forced us to really innovate a lot of really neat concepts and trading rules.

ah, the silver lining. I'm afraid it didn't quite make it to me. All that happened to me was hatred for the morons that are currently destroying our country and make me feel the need to get out.
I am glad for folks like you that can still see some good in all the evil that has taken over the US. I wish I could be like you. Unfortunately, all I see ahead is pain.

As for me, If I were considering managed accounts, honestly I would ask Ardit, that is area of expertise, and by the looks of it he's getting pretty good at it too.

Well, not really. I don't offer managed accounts, not looking for investor (don't need it).
I only write the truth (my honesty) and most of the times truth hurts someone.

that pain is what gives us the advantage, to push a little harder then the next person, its like a bell curve,
A good example is: trying to out run a 1,000 POUND killer bear in the woods, its you and 3 friends. you don't have to be the fastest person just don't be the last person. trading is the same way. you don't have to be the best. just be better then most...

IF U R NOT A GOOD ENOUGH TO TRADE BUT U COULD BE A GOOD INVESTOR..IT MEANS THAT ONE SHOULD BE GOOD IN HIS ANALYSIS OF JUDGMENT ABOUT PICKING A ACCOUNT MANAGER THROUGH HIS PAST RESULT AS WELL AS FUTURE PLANING..IN MY OPINION U IF U CAN BECOME A GOOD ANALYST OF PICKING A FUND MANGER U CAN ALSO B A GOOD TRADER..😎

I realize that but you know that industry better than a lot of people here, so your opinion is a good starting point. As you don't invest on behalf of others, your opinion has greater weight because you have nothing to gain or lose by your answer.
My field is mathematics, if someone wants to know about mathematical systems (fundamental), it would make sense to ask me but I know only the rudimentary basics about technical trading systems used by account managers. So, until I find a way to judge managers like we can robots, my best answer is still to ask Ardit.

We are starting management services for our EA that makes INSANE profits, just check my profile for results. Dont be afraid of huge dd it is only on paper because of hedging - the loosing trade is closed as first.

Here's a little feed back for you ExcellenceFX, as soon as I see your history is private, my interest is done. There is a lot of charlatans in the investment world. If someones has something to hide, I won't do business with them. It may be limiting to some extent because some of the technical people are just bad at sales and don't realize what they are telling the public when they block out info. Either way, it is probably costing you business.

Hey Bob, thank you for your reaction. Actually we hide the trade history from a good reason. We don't want users to be confused from our trading style, because it is very different from usual trading. We must explain each person who is interested in our results how our strategy works, with what brokers and why it is safe even with such drawdowns. Anyone can add us on Skype so we can explain what we do, we can also send you statement of any system from our protfolio if it increases your confidence.

I understand what you want to accomplish, but I was only offering feedback. If I am representative of the whole, you would never get me to the point where I would be on skype with you because your tactic for not confusing me would move me from possibly interested to not interested. What you wanted to accomplish, never enters the picture.
Now how do I know this? I have to deal with what I think to what the others think on a regular basis. (It's part of the development aspect of research and development). What I do is trust my customers/students/etc. If you want them to trust you, you have to trust them.
