Well yes but tickstory is not part of mt4 but
3rd party paid product.

Maybe in near future; but till now mt5 is struggling by comparing the popularity of mt4!

Being a Forex trader, I only use MT4. It’s really good in terms of its simplicity and flexibility.

- a lot of programs and code developed already
- huge base of brokers to select from
- sucks at backtesting

- not easy to learn programming, old MT4 code does not work in mt5

I prefer trading MT4 over MT5, as I am more comfortable and find it user friendly.

I agree that MT4 is the best trading platform to trade forex. Whichever forex broker I use, it is only MT4 that I download.

I have only used MT4 so far. I never felt the need of changing the platform. It’s so easy to customize it and execute trades.
