That just means you held a position for a long time and closed it in a month.
It does not
The strategy usually close the trades the same day.
Then your doing that math wrong. 500X 20 pips a day on a $100 account would mean $1e50 in a year.

There is a big difference between making 20 pips in a day and AVERAGING 20 pips a day. Anyone can be lucky and make 20 pips a day but the difficulty is doing that EVERY day.

And what is the difference? At the end you will have 20*20 = 400 pips a month = the same profit.

I am sure, for a good skilled Forex trader 100 pips is not such a big deal (as a monthly target).
