What makes one a Professional Trader?

Im a amateur but i think its true that pros are not interested in making their "secret recipe" public. Its like coca cola dont make its recipe public because its their business to make money with that.
Thats why i dont believe anyone whos selling robots, training videos, signals or what ever and spiting big words about their products because if it would really work they would not try to make money with that because they simply dont need to make money with that. They would keep it for them self and instead making money with trading their "secret recipe".

@Kazile you are right. It takes a heck of hard work to succeed and to become a professional and not just in this business of trading but in every other sphere of life.
Professionals are known to do lots of crazy things that amateurs think is a waste of time or find uncomfortable.
They don't settle for less and they keep grinding until they perfect their craft.
As a trader, you can get to the level of professionalism by working hard to optimize your strategy and system and your trading psychology that ensnares most traders.

Well, when you are making money doing something - you are professional. That's the actual definition of the word "professional".
So if you are making money trading Forex - you are professional. Being professional doesn't mean that you will not do any mistakes - you will. Being professional doesn't mean that you won't lose any money. It just means - it's your profession, your job. That's all.

So, it has nothing to do with skills or expertise. There are many bad professional sportsmen, actually. A professional trader is a person who earns their living through trading. I feel that it is pretty obvious to everyone that if they are able to provide themselves with the help pf trading, it means that they have enough expertise and skills to share. For me, a professional trader is not the one who earns huge profits but the one who has a deep knowledge about even the most basic things. Therefore, I believe that continuous practice is needed to become professional. One must be ready to enrich his knowledge constantly through learning. For that most traders utilise resources such as social media platforms, books or advanced trading courses.

Discipline, planning, psychiatry, good strategy, money management, risk management, if done properly, it is possible to become a professional trader.

Experience is the main thing that separates professionals from beginners. Professionals have been in the field for longer and during that time have had to find ways to identify their bad habits, better ways of doing things and even modifying their trading strategies in such a way that they are consistently profitable.

Professional traders are consistently profitable. Thats it, they are able to make a living from trading. There is a key difference though they are not consistently winning all the time they are profitable in the long run with losses accounted for imo

If you're not a professional, you will not be successful. Professional does not mean you should take trading as a professional. It is about having the necessary knowledge and a mindset that is suitable for trading in forex.
