I received same email from IC markets and I am not in EU. Is anyone in same situation? I am going to stay with IC AU. I do not think that they will have to cancel all clients accounts

I got this email and I am in EU
I am glad it ended up that way as I am with them for years

@apple1st , Thank you for your "professional" opinion once again, but it is not backed by any legit source just like before...

Of course it is possible that a Broker can imply new rules, new leverage, or even cancel an IB area according to the terms & conditions, but de facto is - as a trader I receive the same quality of service as before, nothing changed for me and other traders, and according to official statemens nothing will change. There are alternative way to keep the same trading conditions.

And the fact that IC is searching for alternatives for traders instead of just shutting down EU accounts, in case ASIC pushes even harded, deserves a special credit.

Financial industry is and always will be risky like any other business, and the ones that perceive any changes as "bad" - will always fade behind the forever changing markets.

Good that IC markets decided to keep AU accounts open. I guess that so many people complained that they thought they would lose too much business if they gave into ASIC too easily

sometimes we try to confirm brokers real performance by using demo trading , but in practical lots of difference there is between demo and live on a broker.
