Forex is Hobby ?

for me it is definitely a hobby. Hobby which i do with my interst and hard work

Everything is quite individual I think. Some people can claim that forex is kind of hobby for them, they just trade on the forex market to relax from tought working day, while other people state that forex trading is their primary activity which bring them money and afford them to stay financially stable. I suppose that every human being who once thought of starting trading activity, should understand for himself what is forex. Whether it's just a hobby or just an activity which he wants to learn or it's a real work and he is ready to dedicate the plenty of time to it. Nevertheless, in both cases approaches to trading shouln't be changed.

Its depends on you. For some it's a hobby, for some it's a part-time job.

Forex definetely can be both: hobby and real profession. It depends on a trader's attitude to this, so, some of them spend really huge amount of time on trading and analysing the markets, working out new trading strategies and so on. However, some of the people just simply derive pleasure from trading. They like to spend their free time on looking at charts and gain some minor profits.

Yes. I am trading in forex as it is my main income source.

Now I am not the only hobby but already become part of my working days, forex as a part-time job. but maybe some traders like forex as a hobby, in daily trading always looking the market and looking information related to forex, and sometimes start from a hobby in future can become main source income, if you like your hobby, learn more and will get something in life.

@Walton I think this is the biggest mistake a trader can commit by thinking of forex as a hobby. Forex is not a hobby it is a business and if you are into it, it is better to take it seriously. What make traders professional is their willingness to master the Forex market. Forex trading involves making the right trading plan, employing right strategies, embracing challenges and most importantly making and losing money. These aspects are only present in a business not in a hobby.

i have never seen any person who already taken Forex as a hobby and got success from this trading place.

@skihav but one wouldn't play with their money in the name of a hobby. What I think is that people who fail to earn profits and lose most of their money are forced by guilt to call forex their hobby, so that people don't judge them by their loses
