How far I am to have the same confition as the best currency quants hedgefunds

I am an individual quants trader with scalping strategy.
My goal is to compete with the best currency quants hedge funds and I would like to have the best environments/platforms to play on the same ground.
What I am preparing is an environment below:

Access to the market: using LMAX, through FIXAPI
VPS : BeeksVPS in London
Program language: C#
I think by doing so, I can assume execution time would be less than 10ms.

I would like to ask you who know the situations of hedge funds well.
How this environment is lagged from the environments used by the best currency quants hedge funds?
How are the execution speeds and liquidity level of those HFs?

I mean whoever is crawling this forum is not hedge fund manager.
Anyone answering your query and pretending to be fund manager wont give you proper info.

@togr haha It is curious that some of them have not yet appeared. I've been in a lot of reading threads, some participate and some not, but I always get a few waiting for comments to promote themselves, their systems and stop counting. They are annoying!
