In the world of trading, I have seen traders tried to focus on one pair, thereby missing opportunities to make money from others.
It's best as a trader to have in my personal opinion at least 5 pairs. Include four currency pairs, then one metal or commodity pairs, if possible stock.
I personally focus on up to ten pairs, and this allows me identity breakouts on one or multiple pairs and select the one to trade on trends.
