My trading firm and I are developers of neural network trading systems that can essentially think for themselves and we're just recently branching into the Metatrader market but it seems no one is interested in intelligent Expert Advisors. I remember after the better ea a few years ago everyone was very much interested in neural networks but the enthusiasm seems to have worn off. Any ideas why?

Maybe it makes the same mistake as human and yes, I agree it does sound like a very cool name but hey random events will kill it off too! Events such as S&P Cash and S&P futures have their price differential in a pretty far manner (Which we all know that it should be the same: Arbitrage Law of One Price)

Certainly 'Artificial Neural Network' is not just a name but digital representation of the human brain, allowing computers and programs to process data and learn similar to how we do. It is an entire field of mathematics. Perhaps the problem is that many scammers have soured the trading community to the obvious power of these systems.
