worldwide11, it all depends on the broker you are using. If it is a strict market maker broker instead of an ECN broker I would say that the performance of a demo account is better compared to a live account. ECN brokers is in my opinion do not differ that much between a demo account and a live account. Slippage can of course be somewhat more on a live account but on the whole an ECN broker is more reliable then a market maker broker when it comes to demo accounts vs live accounts.

From my personal experience, A demo account is an accurate representation of a live account, If a Pro trader or A well designed EA run profitably on a Demo account then it's 99.99 percent certain these resulted can be replicated in a Live account.
Discuss.. 😁
I'm just starting on real account. After the Demo it is very huge difference.
I think have to learn more to be a professional but it needs years... ((
Get some professional training and you will save yourself a lot of money and time.

Take your time when hanging around demo account. It's a huge difference when moving to live account cuz your trading psychology is being trained and tested.
Very true,if you stick to one product until you know it well, makes it less confusing.

Not that 99.99%, though. But at least new traders could adapt themselves to the trading platform and train their trading systems there.

Yeah, but it just wasting your time to copy your own trade from demo to live. Just do it in live trading, anyway. Demo account would be useful if you evaluate your trading system...
