As a new trader, many think it's all about placing a trade and making a profit instantly, but is that how it works? there is usually a time when you experience losing streaks, there is also a time when you play the break-even game and there is another time when you are in full blown profitability. what time are you currently? comment on your current stage and I will suggest to you what to do to break-out fast.

Your perspective highlights the natural progression many traders experience. I’m currently in the profitability stage, though it took disciplined effort to break through the earlier phases. For those facing losing streaks, focusing on journaling trades to identify patterns and mistakes can help. If you're in the break-even stage, refining your strategy to optimize risk-reward ratios and maintaining consistency is key.

Trading is a marathon, not a sprint, and understanding your current phase allows for targeted improvements to progress effectively.
Adapt, analyze, and achieve — one trade at a time.

When you are in a losing streak. Take a break and seek for quality education. If you have quality education, make sure you understand it based on a single simple model. You will see yourself moving out fast.

Yeah, taking a break does help get a clear mind and have a clear perspective. When I get stuck, I just think to myself that sometimes less is also more.

I totally agree, taking breaks help reset mind. Any specific things you do to clear your mind?

Occasionally, taking a step back and simplifying matters can help in improved outcomes, if we're talking about the long-term

I just do some mindful exercises but if it does not help, i just get up from my setup and go for a walk or something.

Interesting! Initially I take a break too but sometimes feel stuck. Does the walk help clear head?

For me sports is the thing that can my head out of the trade to have a breather. Cause my mind is easily affected by losing (and also winning) the mind needs to focus on doing other things (cooking or doing laundry for example). Cause at the heat of the moment my mind is working on this overdrive mode of why did i lose? Where did i go wrong? Was my analysis incorrect? etc. If i take walk my mind would still be occupied by the last losing setup.
Keep fighting
