There are other popular pairs apart from USD/EUR for trading like AUD/CAD,USD/JPY, USD/GBP etc. which are worth exploring. Newbies shouldn’t venture outside this zone.
Absolutely. Exotic pair trading should not be undertaken by people with less experience because as the chance for the profit increases, the same is the risk for loss. It’s always better to balance out. In fact that’s why I am using an assortment of brokers ranging from Pepperstone to Fxview because this helps me in better risk management. Multiple brokers and multiple currencies is my strategy.
Actually I am fairly new in exotic pair trading and mostly practicing them in demo. With major pairs I am sure of strategy but want to increase my profits. Do share the strategies you use for exotic pair trading! Thanks!

I prefer to trade USD EUR. In my opinion, this is the most understandable and predictable pair.
Absolutely I agree with you that EUR/USD is the easiest pair for anyone trading in forex. It is not complex and heavily liquid which is a plus. I think traders should use common pairs of trading initially.
No doubt EUR/USD are the most easiest pairs of trading but I think after some time a trader should invest his/her time to learn about the exotic forex pairs like ZAR/USD because they hold more profit potential. When the major pairs are stagnated or not providing profits, exotic pairs can come to the rescue.
EURUSD is also my favorite.

Major pairs are popular trading pairs and new traders should start with those pairs first.

All pairs are good in my opinion. I prefer the least exotic pairs.

Any exotic pair is least favourite to trade. They hardly have any pattern and move a lot. They are very risky pairs to trade.

Actually, least preferable pairs are those which don't include major currencies, such as gbp, eur, usd and jpy. I don't know why, but I started to notice that I never use pairs like chf/rub or somehing like that. Maybe, it's my mistake but I trust only those currencies which are admitted as the world biggest currencies.

Generally, I prefer to trade with major pairs because they are easy to trade and more liquid and less volatile. For instance, EUR/USD and USD/JPY. There is also a lot of information available on them, so traders can perform their analysis easily. I avoid exotic pairs because they are extremely volatile. For example, USD/MXN and USD/ZAR. Traders should also avoid using high leverage with these because this could lead to huge losses.

Pairs tied to CHF and JPY for me. Especially with each other!
If you can't spot the liquidity then you are the liquidity.

The least favorite exotic pair to trade is the one with no pattern. They are very unpredictable and have no pattern. These pairs are extremely risky to trade.

I know lately, the GBP/JPY pair is the least reliable. There is a lot of risk here.
The means fits the end.

Perhaps, USD/CAD is the worst currency pair for me. I also don’t like EUR/USD and I would put GBP/USD on the third place. Other majors are not problematic for me. Besides this, I don’t have problems with cross pairs.

My least favourite pair to trade EUR/TRF. It is very unpredictable, enables increased spreads and is not liquid at all in comparison to other currency pairs.

I avoid trading with exotic pairs since they are difficult to trade and also the most troublesome pairs because they are not very liquid.
I agree, Even I don’t prefer exotic currency pairs. I prefer trading EUR/USD and GBP/JPY major currency pairs.

My most favorite will definitely be EURUSD, i am currently trading on them with fxview and earned decent gains on it but my least favorite have to be USDJPY & AUDCAD as i’ve been seeing a lot of fluctuations these days.
