Hi,
I have been programming Expert Advisers for a while now experimenting with different strategies and have failed to really come up with a solution that really makes a strong consistent profit.
I am working with a partner and we have a large fund to invest in the forex market. REAL MONEY. Not demo.
If you believe you have an Expert Adviser that will make many transactions every day and come out in profit every month then contact me. What I am looking for is a type of scalping strategy. Must be for EUR/USD. Must be able to make profit from a $10,000 account.
If it works we will run the ea on 10x $10k accounts.
Prove to me you have something and we can talk about money.
I am reaching out because there may be someone who has the solution but not the money to make it work.
Martin
Dear Mr. Martin

Trust in reports ea's is a suicide and more for scalpers. Why? Well for example, people made her backtest or optimizations with irreal spreads ( most of the times with zero spread, that is not showed in a report ). They also dont take account slipagges and offquotes. Also can be martingale, grid or sobreoptimizations. Why trust only in one strategy? The best is to have a diversity of good strategies ( diversify in strategies, in pairs, etc ). I have winnings ea's and i work with them all at time. I have 2 years Demo accounts + 1 year real accounts with profitable strategies, but I cant sell my portfolio, is all my job for 3 years, there is no money to buy that.
Dont trust in reports, made ur owns reports, ur owns test in demo and next go to test in real.

Hey @optimofx
Good advice. When looking at reports I didn't consider the spread. I have a great deal with my broker regarding spread but even on a 0 spread I have an ea that will trade thousands of times per month scalping and make a killing. Also, some people don't realise if your broker provides trading to the fifth decimal then in MT4 when backtesting the spread needs to be on 10 (as its in points) to equal 1 pip.

Hey Martin and fellow strategy developers,
RedRhinoFX will be offering a MT4 EA shortly to circulate the word about our company. However, we understand that MetaTrader has been the norm for half a decade and this will be changing permanently in 2014. Out with the old, and in with the new.
From a developers perspective MetaTrader has never given us a decent platform to pursue a financial career in automation. You wouldn't expect any successful hedgefund tell you that their using MT4-5 or even know what it is. This thread is a great example of years worth of strategy development hasn't paid off for most developers.
Our strategy development starts with a solid foundation in C# through the all new cAlgo platform. cAlgo doesn't contain limitations that are associated with mql. Furthermore, strategies can contain a robustness that retail fx traders has never before seen.
We're looking forward to hearing from other strategy developers that would be happy to make the transition into C#. We have large capital for enough developers too.
@MartinC - We'd be happy to work with you since our objectives are inline.

This has nothing todo with a Good EA as you put it. To detect Digit placement, it is a normal function within the Init(). If the EA does not contain this function, most likely the EA is FREE and was written many years ago before 5 digit data placement was offered to MT4 platforms

My ea link is bellow, keep an eye on my results and if you are interested in what it has under its hood let me know and i'll explain. Total maximun drawdown will stay under 15-20% and the average monthly profit is 60% but those values are for SAFE trading if you want to take more risks i have traded successfully 600% monthly. Anyhow, let me know.

Excuse me myfxbook but... This account (investingdev) has been suspended because of this post? If so, why? I am confused...

I absolutely disagree. MT4 is a good platform for a retail trader and a learning automated trader. MT5 is even better. Both of them have their lacks. And agree that there are better platforms for retail traders. But MT4 and MT5 are VERY decent platforms for retail trading!
So you decided to turn to C#. Very good bet! But... using cAlgo? Another retail platform, a new born? Yes, I suppose it will improve a lot in the coming years... But, for now, it is still a baby that needs to wear nappies... With a lot of important bugs. If you like C# and want to develop in a already tested and long-time known platform, use FXCM TradeStation and Easylanguage... But in my opinion, cAlgo is still very prone to bugs.
Another thing is that your strategy
http://www.myfxbook.com/members/RedRhino/red-rhino-demo/688728
is a martingale -well, a modified version of a martingale, but yes, it has the principles of growing lot and entering trades in the opposite direction. So, do you really think that investing a huge amount of money in this kind of strategy is safe? Because I don't...

99% of ea's are bad or scams, like that, he talk about profits, but dont talk about risk. When people will understand profit and risk are part of the same thing. If u talk about profit without risk u are tellin me nothing.
Pd: peepmoney ur ea have negative pips, so u can martingale or grid but continue being a bad strategy.

Hi Optimofx, my EA is mixed between Grid and martingale, and also follow trends with fundamentals, not technical, continuosly make profit with low risk, estimated in only 15% monthly gain. I also testing this in live account but as i am undercapitalized can not run it full time yet, only is most profitable hours. for example today with US holyday I am not trading live with it, or after NY close.
