I'm not really doing either right now, although I am running a profit share program. A newer version of the bot I'm using can be found here. And no, I'm not the one selling it. :)

He's probably doubling up after losing trades or something similar since he has a negative expectancy in terms risk:reward.

Definitely doubling on loses. It is working for now but a bit too risky for me.
