Hi Walter,
playing political games with forex.
This time the results were good and lucky that the trades where closed.
You never know how busy it will be on the server.
Many SL settings didn't do anything.
heard of a couple blow ups on Donna

Yes, you can play political games on a cent account. 😉
I bet if it was really a 30,000 account that you would have closed the positions before market close.
If one is trading, manual or with an EA, one has always to keep an eye on the fundamentals as well and act accordingly.
That's also why I built in the settings "No More Trades After Friday 17:00 UTC" and "Close Trades on Friday 20:45 UTC", just to make sure.

The last trade was closed manually. Withe the French election on Sunday I had to close the open trade early that Friday. If I had it run I would have had a very much better profit. Hmmm you can't have it all. Next time better.

Hi,
Let's assume a Bullish pattern.
A pattern has the legs XA, AB, BC and CD.
If it completes, meaning it has all 4 legs and a D point, it will Buy.
But since HT ULTIMATE trades from the C point towards the D point already it says EMERGING, meaning it is not completed and has no 4th leg or D point yet.
So for an EMERGING Bullish pattern it (may) Sell from the C point towards the D point.
And once the pattern completes, it will say Bullish Pattern and will Buy.
Hope that explains it.

Early years are totally irrelevant.
It was a completely different market back then.
We optimized the EA for current market conditions on 99.9% accurate tick data , more particular from 2013 to now.
(And no, this is not curve-fitting)
The fact that back test results for 2017, even on less accurate data, matches the live forward test, only confirms that we did a good job with optimizing the EA.
