I used to think this was one of the best strategies on myfxbook. Sometimes I wonder if the successful strategies here are simply just lucky. All the ones that do not succeed simply would be deleted. But this system compared to a lot is still pretty good. Saying that my faith in forex as a long term investment is not that high. Overtime 4 years plus it appears that all strategies eventually go into large drawdown.

the new version has been online, you can upgrade to ver 23.
as you know the hard year in 2018 year, most market situation was so bad , due to BEXIT and abnormal world market economy issue, but we are still alive, not like other strategy go to dead.

Night scalper is a profitable strategy. Best Scalper trade only major pair EURUSD/GBPUSD. But from my experience Night scalpers best suited for cross currency pair. If this EA also trade cross then there may be low volatility and better return on capital.
The market will trade through it’s path of least resistance .

@forexgermany Did you suspend trading on the 27th in light of the Brexit vote?

@forexgermany I see your latest trades have different open trade than usual, is there any change on the setfile? If so, what changes are they? Do you mind to share the setfile?
Thanks a lot.
Thanks a lot.

Best Scalper looks like it just opened a bugged position: a killer sell order with no stop loss and no TP which is completely uncharacteristic of the EA during the UK election.

@Afron to be fair, the EA is still profitable over time per @forexgermany 's account, even with this factored in.
Having said that though, I advised the maker of the EA to feature a check on positions for their TPs/SLs, and if there are none, to either set the appropriate TP/SL, or close the position if the gain or loss would trigger the TP/SL normally.
Hopefully we'll see a patch/update soon.

I have checked the logs. The EA didn't even try to set SL/TP or to close the order earlier. However, I was lucky. The order was opened miles away from the limit, otherwise I would have lost more than twice as much.

Another issue I've noticed is that when there is a strong move, pending orders do not seem to account for this in a timely fashion. For example, a GBPUSD buy order was triggered during a strong move down, and then was immediately liquidated at a loss before even the 15 minute candle close.
If the EA could account for and recognise such strong moves, adjust pendings accordingly, it may help with performance.
Alternately, it might account for heavier than usual volatility by opting not to trade at all.
