I re-check my loss history and i suspect you were right pipdetector. i put the amount of 1K in my demo account, all the open positions closed together at the same time when my total loss hit more than $300. I guess that was the reason when the loss hit 25% of the total balance, am i right about this? That means 1k really not enough to maintain the positions even with 0.01 lot
Please do keep in mind that your free margin is divided amongst all your open trades. If the EA opens 8 trades, your free margin is divided by 8 for each order. So if you have USD800 free margin, you only have USD100 free margin per order. The moment one order hits a lost of USD100, you will get a margin call from your broker. Some brokers will close one order at a time, some will close all your open orders at once. Check with your broker.

What does the default risk=10 mean? With 1k start, what would be the better risk value?
The risk variable is percent of AccountBalance that is used to calculate lot size on 1st trade. The Multiply variable is factor used to increase lot size on sequential orders.
Example for Maxtrades =4.
1 = 0.1
2 = 0.2
3 = 0.4
4 = 0.8

Is your history data valid? 90% Modeling Quality.
Do you have GMTOffSet correct for your Broker's server time?
I am using default settings on v4f.

i found the archive.
sorry for the stupid question!
what's the difference between v4 and v4f?
thank you.
v4 versions only active at new bar start. V3 and earlier versions are active on every tick.
V4f has GMT Offset to adjust EA to Broker's server time.

Default AccountType=2, which is for Brokers with minimum lotstep of 0.01. For Brokers with minimum lotstep of 0.1,then set AccountType=1;

Can Money Management be swithed off to allow fixed lot trading only? To switch off must mm = 0 or false ?
What Trade Settings will you recommend for fixed lots trading ( on MT4 with $10 000 demo) ?
Yes, set mm=0. Then set Lots to the lot size you want for the first trade.
(min lotstep 0.1), I would set deposit minimum $1-2,500 per pair, leverage 1:100.
(Min LotStep 0.01), i would set deposit minimum $250 -500 per pair, leverage 1:100.
On $2,000 balance or less, I would set Risk=2. Then, if EA performs OK, you can adjust Risk level as you become more comfortable with trading results.
