Balance can move all over NAV, doesn't matter. Only thing that does matter is the speed of the NAV value change.
Margin I can always make a plan on. But if you look very close at the detail you'll see that I'm banking in a market that is going against me over 1% a day. At some point this will turn around.That compounds to over 1000% per annum. No one does that. The second richest guy in the world does 30% per annum with about 50% DD.
This account has almost no chance of working. Yet here it is, hanging in there. $100 I take the chance, but imagine I turn it down to say 100% a year.

See, that's why don't get fx. You ask the wrong question. I use almost all of it. To much to be comfortable with. So I need to add money or drop pairs.

I tried high volumes, but can't be done at this level. The platform fails. I would need to be Oanda to do what I wanted to. Not possible in retail fx.
But yes, I mean in this case I'm using most of my margin and we have maybe 1% NAV change per day. So the portfolio is fairly safe. In that case high volatility would generate good profit without much risk.
Last 48 hours been a bit alarming. The speed of changes been accelerating, so there is a fat tail here. Need to drop pairs or change a setting. Cause for alarm.

Margin is important cause that tell us if you are an idiot or not, I guess you do not want to look as one, that is ok, me neither. Since you wanted all of us to guess, and you stated you are using most of it, I will gess you are using 70 or 80 %, it that is it you suck as a trader and I hope you make it ( do not think you will tough).

I'm not looking for help in any form. I know what I'm doing. Simply did this account to put Diamonds trading into perspective and now I'm using it for experimental stuff.
I have a long history with Zero here and unless he behaves himself he is getting no information out of me.
