Most definitely I have gotten those offers. I have gotten so many refunds on worthless EAs that i have lost count. Never heard of the Blessing EA. I will have to go hunt it up. I am currently teaching myself mql4 so that i can program a few of my own systems. I actually stumbled across a system that cannot be traded by a human (because there is too much processing to do) that has shown an incredibly high return. I used the strategy tester to slowly step through and test the concept. It shows to produce 500-1500 pips every 24 hour period. Ergo...the reason why i am having to teach myself mql4. I can't trust anyone because of the number of thieves in the market.

Anyway. I have no plans on selling it or giving it away. At least not until after i have made me fortune off of it. There are some viciously complex parts to the logic that have been causing me problems though. i have consulted a few experienced programmers about small pieces of it and so far everyone is stumped. I know it can be done, it is just figuring out the logic behind the ordering system. I have even went so far as considered turning different parts into separate EAs that would be traded together to have the entire system. Anyway...that is a work in progress.

lol..I realized after I typed it that you'd had gazillions of those offers..The work you're doing sounds like a great challenge & you strike me as being tenacious & detail-focused enough to bring it thru.
I had that thought of if you broke it down into segments it may be more attainable..
Anyhow it's getting late here "down under" but I wish you the best success.
It's been good chatting with you & hope to bump into you again here..
Cheers

I have also gone through so many EA's, and made a tremendous amount of mistakes along the way. Even recently, I fell for one that was positively useless. I spent an amount of money that I am embarrassed to even mention, and it was a waste of time. For the same amount of money I probably could have bought 10 different EA's. And the biggest mistake I made was that it wasn't even refundable.

Anyway, you need to get a VPS to run EA's, and with 1gb RAM you can easily run a few instances of mt4 platforms quite comfortably.

Anyone with any decent suggestions for me to look at in terms of EA's that are not a complete waste of time, and have solid proven track records, I would love to hear.

I can give you a few. The Kangaroo EA (I have been trading it live since the end of January2011). The Wall Street Forex EA used to be reliable, but has been officially removed from my live accounts recently. The Forex Growth bot if you know how to tweak it properly and can handle extended periods of drawdown. Million Dollar Pips EA .....IF...you are willing to jump through hoops to find the perfect combination of VPS and ECN broker. This EA REQUIRES ultra fast broker communication AND an ultra fast broker.

The Kangaroo EA is the most reliable if you have it setup properly. There have been some loss on it in recent history that were easily avoidable.

I looked at it. it looks to use a grid or martingale type system. I won't use an EA that uses either of these.

Haven't had a trade yet off FGB.Using EURUSD 15min charts and the default settings of the basic pack.
Disappointed it prompts you to buy this, then as you purchase it, there are other packs available after purchse....don't mind the variaety of packs, but you know, if I want advanced, I'll buy it first....not after shelling out for a basic pack.

FXDownunder, I recommend going and purchasing the power source edition and then requesting a refund for the basic edition. The power source has proven to be more profitable even though the logic is supposed to be identical.

Test your settings over a longer period and let us know the results.

In general optimising EA's based on short term price data ( a few months ) is the quickest way to the poor house.

Out of curiosity i ran an extended back test with tick data from dukascopy. The results were basically the same over the long haul.

Interesting. I actually got one trade out of it today. Restarted my MT4 platform, and the EA stopped activating. Tried to re-run the licensing software again, but it no longer activates.

With respect to the power source version, I have been told it requires the basic version. So, unless there is something they can fix with the activation issue, I'll be going for a refund I think. I'm not interested in a product that requires me to deactivate antivirus software just to install it.

I did not have any trouble with it. I can verify that it does not require the basic edition. I know because i got a refund on the basic edition and still run the power source edition.

Excellent, well best of luck with them then.

It's McAfee antivirus hitting the licensing .exe as if it were a trojan. False positive for sure, but still a major interruption to a PC not used specifically for hosting MT4 and EAs. No biggie really, but for annoyance factor, not worth keeping for me
