Hi Bilray,
Brokers vary and everyone has a horror storry or two and people seldom agree. I've used 4 so far and here's my list of preference from best to worst:
FX Pro (works well with the megadroid EAs), I'll start live trading on FX Pro next week with Forex Growth Bot
FX Primus tied with AAAFX
Forex.com (worst, NFA filed some kind of case against them for using some kind of plug in that created slippage in their favor, if you google that you should find it out there)
Others that might also be OK:
Alpari UK
MB Trading
Go markets
FXDD
InterbankFx
InterbankFx AU

Thanks Raymond and Tem.123,
I will try FX Pro.
Money is what I am looking for, not perfection.
For the cost of this product, it is worth a try...aim to make a reasonable amount of money each month. There is no such thing as perfect system.

OK it closed out the week well. I had 6 trades, 2 losses of about 65 pips. 4 winners with about 286 pips. This is with 0.01 lot size on my live FX Primus account. The winners won hands down. Going into the weekend with no trades open.
I took the opportunity of having no trades open to increase the lot size and reboot the VPS. Next week I'll be trading live on FX Pro account also. Held off on FX Pro live trading first because the min lot size was 0.1 lots so if it takes a few hundred pips down it could be expensive.
fxgrowthbot, Maybe you can confirm this. Found out from FGB support earlier today that if you quit or restart MT4 for any reason when there are open trades you should close out any open trades manually rather than letting the EA close them. I guess that means that once you reboot it may lose track of the open trades and may not close them out. Is that correct?

I think I had close to the same trades as Raymond. At any rate, the bot has now swung into profit of about 270 pips for the (nearly) 2 weeks of testing. Not bad when you consider that most of the losses were during Christmas week. I may even become impressed and I especially like the R:R ratio. Most EA's aren't too concerned with that.
Regarding brokers, I would not rate Forex.cpm as the worst. Yes, they did get a well deserved fine but since then they seemed to have cleaned up there act. There execution is extremely fast and the spreads are generally better than that of IBFX. They also have silver and several gold pairs if you happen to trade metals.
Also... I haven't used MB Trading for a live account yet but on the demo, the spreads are EXCELLENT and they seem to try to "take care of business". For a US account, they might be hard to beat.
Thanks fxgrowthbot for dropping by. It's understandable that you don't have a lot of time to put in here.
Happy Trading.

Hi , Yes if you restart during an open trade you must close the trade yourself.
Fxgrowthbot,
Would it be possible for you to put it in the next update , so that the ea would continue managing the trade after we restart the VPS ?
Thank you

Yes, we will work on an update to keep track of trades there after. Advanced edition has more settings and so does Power version.
Thank you fxprofiler for clarifying I appreciate it.
Basic in performance is the same as advanced. But ADVANCED has more settings for those looking to tweak it as mentioned above.

Hi fxgrowthbot
Alpari Uk servers occasionally drop their transmission. My MT4 automatically logs back in again as soon as they start their server signal.
Will this effect the FGB ea controlling the open trades? or is it only if I close dowm MT4 and re-open?
Thanks
