Its better to turn off ea one day before, if the pair is in extreme readings. Too many spikes will trigger false signals...
I think is better to do manual trading in news o stay away nd enjoy the weekend, i had FBG off since one week
Have a nice weekend

yep, I'm down about $8,000 on today.. still up overall so I'm sticking with it but surely there should be some sort of Filter to stop it continuously entered trades when the market is clearly in a whipsaw rather than a solid continiously trending market which this EA is designed for...

Hi guys, first Friday on each month, the market has Non Farm Employment Change & unemployment rates. The bots as usual must be disconected. You can check it on:

thanks guys, Appreciate the advice :-) I will certainly do that in the future.. it does make me wonder though, if that's true, why don't the creators of the EA stop trading on this news day too? or at least list it as a warning in the manual?
and Another thought is, would there be the possibility that Growth bot may actually work better under this scenario where news anouncements might cause large moves in the market that would trigger a buy/sell order and generally that trend should continue "most" of the time?
are there any other big news annoucements that you would recommend turning EA's off on?
meanwhile, at that moment.. Growth bot seems to be still taking trades in the whipsawing market and getting killed! I exited the last 2 trades manually for a small loss and turned it off now..
Thanks again :o)

Of course you might want to analyse the backtest data and see how much profit or loss can be attributed to NFP day trading from the EA.
