He did answer to me, perhaps you didn't wait long enough yet :)
Supposedly the problem is largely due to build 500 being incompatible with a piece in the EA that is provided by a third party. So he's talking with them now to get that fixed, in order to get his own EA fixed.
He has answered me several times now, but keeps telling me is it not the EA. I am using Always Up, to keep Metatrader running. It runs Metatrader as a windows service so if it crashes, it restarts. He keeps trying to blame the program for the crashing. He can't seem to understand the Always Up program is the solution and not the problem. Either way, while the program still crashes regularly, it is no longer a problem. I have even been getting better results than the master account. I've missed out on a few losses.

Glad it's working for you too now. I'm doing something similar, with ProcessAlive, so that effectively fixes the crashing problem.
My main issue at the moment is the lot size it uses: it's about 10 times smaller than when I was using the copier. Weird. I asked whether it could be a bug, but he suggested to simply raise the risk. That would mean putting it on 1.0 instead of 0.1 though, which feels wrong. I think I'll just leave it running a bit and perhaps just go for a fixed lot size (trying to calculate the risk myself) if it keeps using tiny lot sizes.

I have mine set to 1.0 and haven't experienced any problems. My balance is a little over 38k and I'm running lots of 1.79

Why anybody in his right mind would sell to the PUBLIC an EA like this, with such a good performance for such a low price. Isn't it suspicious...? Come on...!!!
AT BEST it works for the developer and he scalps the entries of his followers who can enter and exit trades with large slippage. Double profit for him (subscription fees + scalping profits)! The other reasons are too long to mention...

I don't know about the scalping, but it has been working well for me. My trades have matched the trades of the newsbot account for the most part. Occasionally, I will miss a trade, but my account has performed better on several occasions then the master. Of course I have fast execution, 1ms. My VPS is connected directly to my FinFX account.

That's nice. Would you mind making your account - at least partially - visible on MyFxBook?

I can show you the last few days as I changed accounts recently. I'm changing again in a few days as I've opened a PAMM account. I was using a trade copier between accounts, but I had too much slippage. So I decided to open a PAMM, that way the EA's won't have winners on the master and losers on the slaves.

I was in heavy for FX Amplified, it went sour today, hence the losses. I also run other EAs on this account.

Thanks for the link!
I am also an AMP subscriber, so I know first hand... As I see that you have closed the 2nd trade manually. Smart!
Do you use the EA version of NewsBot?

I don't know if it is smart as it looks like it will reverse . . . I just haven't liked the last 4 trades. It feels like a different trader. I'm reducing risk moving forward until I can see if there has been a change in trading style. The last trades show signs of a trader caught up in the moment. Do you know anything about the person(s) behind the curtain?
I have tried both, the EA and Direct. I seem to get better results with the EA. At least I beat out Nick's account on a regular basis. Judging by the pip counts on Donna Forex, I'm on the high end, although not the best.

It looks like the large loss was due to a problem with the broker. They reopened a closed trade and left it hanging. It wasn't until they noticed it at Simple Trader that it was closed. The master is trading on a Demo account for fast execution. This makes me a little uneasy as Demo accounts seem to have more problems than live accounts. At least it explains the issue. As it turns out it was a bad idea to close the trade . . . sigh. I now have their link next to Nick's account link so I can compare trades. I had a number of opportunities to close the trade with a few pips win if I had known it was bad. I won't make that mistake again.

I stand on the sidelines for now in regard to FxAmp. It seems that the trader has become destabilized emotionally. The same thinkg is happening with Milan at "MyLiveAccount"...
By the way, do you use NewsBot's EA version?

I turned FX Amplified off today as well. With all the bad press, the trader could get flustered. I'm out of the latest trade in draw down. Plus, I'm moving accounts over the next few days and turned all the EAs off. I don't want any trades preventing me from moving the money.
Yes, I am using the EA. When you ask for the EA, they actually send you two different ones. I am using the spike trader version on five currency pairs. How about you?

Thanks for the feedback! I was just waiting to hear some first hand report about this EA.
What other EA's or signal providers do you use with good results?
Until recently I was very happy with MyLiveAccount, however the past few weeks have been pretty bad for Milan. Nevertheless, overall the strategy's results are still pretty good.
Other than that I have had a few good trades with HE-Spider over the past few months although it does not trade too much. Also Pipaddiction has strarted out pretty well, but the trader has stopped sending free signals and he has not created a commercial gateway yet.

I'm using the same three actively. I'm still testing spider, so the risk is turned down. I have a lot of others in the arsenal, but none that I will be turning on again for a while as they are not dependable. I refuse to use martingale strategies and that is all that seems to be pushed out lately. Every time you find something that looks good, it comes out to be either martingale, demo account, or something with very large drawdowns.
