William Morrison advised to lower the risk "until holidays". What about DURING holidays?
Should we disable the robot for the holidays (December 18-30)?
I saw that. I am not entirely certain why you would want to do so with this system. The reason most people lower risk during december is due to erratic price movements and low volume. If this was a normal system that would get stopped out by whipsawing markets....yeah, lowering risk or stopping entirely would be a good idea. As it is, MDP works best with whipsawing movements. That said....the lower trading volume could cause some nightmarish slippage for MDP. Lowering you risk would allow you to get filled eaiser. Just some thoughts.

brace for impact. Last half of December coming up. The big funds will be taking profit on positions. This means extended moves that can possibly suck in your MDP trades and keep running....over and over and over. The stop and reverse may not work as well. Plus....lower liquidity WILL be an issue. expect increased slippage.

Fughe, usually low liquidity periods are characterized by spike-reverse range-bound action, usually a norm for December. Should be good for MDP
I am hoping for it to continue as it has in the past. i am not going to expect it though. This year has seen radical changes in market behavior.

I think Fughe is right. like William (which sent an email there is few weeks)
Low liquidity mean more problems to MDP. because less traders are on the market, there is less liquidity available to fullfill the MDP requests. so more slippage and bad results for us.
Like William's recommend, reduce the number of requests and reduce the lot size for the month.
