- 2.7 % and -1.4 %. Maybe MDP needs an update again to adapt to the changing market conditions?
@oldchartreader: What happened with your MDP-trade yesterday at 10:38? Minus 41.1 pips! Broker problem or VPS problem?

I found it is always better to combine your own trading with eas. Also select eas that trade in a very different ways, so profits and losses are uncorrelated. Then you get a very nice equity curve.

Yeh I'm really not happy with MDP have been running it for at least 6 months and would be lucky to be much above break even. It's taken much of my profit from Gold and Silver in the last month. Just holding silver from $26 and see where it goes, but know it's unrelated to this thread. I've got the GU and UJ versions and have done almost nothing since getting them was a waste of $200

I noticed that in Million Dollar pips demo account that most of the action came from one month in the middle of last year, either side of this and the performance dosent look great, so looks like it clealry needs very specific conditions.
But the bottom line is there are not many robots that work as good as someone who knows how to trade manually, there are just too many things going on in the market that require knowkedge and judgement to be profitable, anyone thinks they will get rich trading robots is kidding themselves.
Learn how to trade.

What do you people expect from MDP??? Market conditions are as they are right now! MDP works very fine like the day one. There is not very fast moving price retracements lately, that's all. You can always change the settings to behave for the market conditions right now. What are we missing? Retracements, that is. So we may enlarge the trailing SL/TP, right? It's risky but risk works both ways. The entry orders are OK, the problem is that SL is hit to early lately. So what can one do? Widden the trail. Do not let a robot do the work but work with it. Test it and learn how it "thinks". Backtest changing HardStop to false, to escape stop hunting or lagging price action... for example. Don't wait for other's work but do yours instead. William Morrison did his part, do not wait anymore for miracles. You won't make thousands of percent from MDP just by doing nothing more than a VPS setup.

Seriously the comments on here are comical.... what you think you can spend less than the cost of a few trips to McDonalds on buying a robot and it will answer all of your financial problems or dreams of wealth !! When you trade you are up against big organisations that want to maximise profits, as you do, the big difference is they can move the price action and you can not. They know you, they know your leverage, your greed, your fears, your stops, your take profits, basically your a sitting duck !!
Ok lets put things in perspective...... what you seek does not exist for the moey you wish to pay......
Stop wasting your time dreaming that a robot is somehow going to solve all this, I seriously think that all the major banks would be purchasing the rights to such an awesome product if it exisited and lived upto expectations. But guess what ! It dosent !!!
Trading is a brutal business and those who know how to trade make from those that dont, thats reality, harsh though it may seem.....
I have never seen or been shown a robot that can produce profits, well unless you happen to be selling it, rather than using it !!
Keep chasing the dream, but learn how to trade, not buy robots!

Talking too much but you can not show us any of your trading results... You can't be rich with manual trading. If you want to gain high you must use EA's. Do not perplex wishful people here with your useless thoughts!
