I have no affiliation with Professor53, but I will second that this is a good deal. Of everyone using MDP, he has the best results I have seen from anyone.

We should receive a spike 13 hrs from now according to the economic indicator. Everyone ready? Then again the next day around the same time.
Prof, are you running any account at 3-3-8 settings?

i think what lobotomy meant was the server setting concerning the myfxbook trade journal. for that, take a look at this site: http://www.myfxbook.com/help/connect-metatrader-publisher
as you can see there, the server setting is ftp.myfxbook.com:21 (21 stands for the port being used, 21 is standard for ftp).
however, you have to add the account to your portfolio first in order to get the ftp login.

New to forum here. And new to MDP.
Seeing a lot of diffrent settings and diffrent results on live and test acocunts.
Anyone have a real Long-term account thats doing good with MDP?
Can I ask for your settings? =)
Cheers
This EA is very sensitive. Settings good for one broker might not be good for others. Each broker has its own trading conditions: order execution time (open, modify, close), slippage, spread, liquidity, and trading restrictions. The EA has many parameters that will allow you tweak the EA according to broker conditions. For example, if spread is high you should disable AutoApply_ECN (false). If order execution time is high you should disable use_stop_orders (false), enable group_orders (true), and use lower Max_Sim_orders (4 or less). Lowering NumOrders_Level and Additional_Channels will result in less trades but reduce entering orders prematurely (less profit and less loss). I advise you to start with very low risk and run the EA for sometime to check its performance with your broker.

Well, what happened? I got zilch as in "0" action. I guess the spike lacked some bite. Anybody get some trades today?

So has anyone tested the new Pepperstone Razor server in NYC? How are execution times now with MDP?
MPD hasn't traded since Friday so I can't tell you. I can tell you that the latency is fantastic. I'm using Galaxy VPS and getting 1ms to the US Pepperstone data centre.
Just need to wait until MDP triggers, and I'll let you know what the execution times are like. I'm hoping they'll be pretty good.
