Gold analysis for July 11, 2016
The gold has been trading downwards. The price tested the level of $1,335.21 in an ultra high volume. My take profit level at the price of $1,350.00 has been reached. According to the 30M TM, We found strong rejection from the level of $1,335.00. Using market profile analysis, We found a higher value area, which means that buyers are still present on the market and that selling looks risky. We found single prints at $1,355.90, which is extacly the same level of yesterday's point of control. Watch for buying opportunities on the dips. The take profit level is set at the price of $1,370.50.

Australia - ANZ Roy Morgan Weekly Consumer Confidence, 115.2 (prior 115.8)
The 4 week moving average is 116.7, down 0.3 of a point
Concerns cited include the uncertainty surrounding the Australian election result, global economy/news (you'd have thought England had sunk into the North Sea if you watch the Australian news TV) and ratings agency S&P revising their outlook on Australia to negative (while scepticism of ratings agencies remains high, its not as acute when they convery "bad news").
I expect Richie Porte's fine performances in the Tour de France will give us a boost soon enough, just as I'm sure Chris Froome is doing for the sinking country.

New UK PM Theresa May caves in on key appointment after rat threat
Good news for one 10 Downing Street resident - he'll be staying on with new PM May
Larry is a brown and white tabby entrusted with the rat-catching portfolio.
He has held the position since 2011 and will be staying on.

China’s President Xi says "No" to Beatles. Well, this one anyway.
The discoverer of a newly found species of beetle wanted to name the new bug after China's President Xi Jinping
"The specific epithet is dedicated to Dr Xi Jin-Ping, the President of the People's Republic of China, for his leadership making our motherland stronger and stronger."
But, China's internet censors have said "No":
Have ordered the internet wiped clean of references to the beetle
"All websites find and delete the article 'Entomologists Report: Scholars Use 'Daddy Xi' to Name a New Type of Beetle' and related information."

"Australian political woes put kiwi dollar parity with Aussie in view"
Roll the parity bus out of the garage, check the water and oil, kick the tyres ...
Comments from Cameron Bagrie, ANZ's Chief Economist for New Zealand in Wellington
Momentum is with the New Zealand dollar
Expects parity to be hit over the next couple of years rather than overnight
Expects political developments to impact on the AUD (lower)
