I've seen about 15, 20, 30 pips spreads on some Brokers during Rollover, never 400 or something like that which is crazy already, one of the people commenting on that thread mentioned that.
Spreads widening are specially dangerous on: GBPCHF, CADCHF, EURCAD and GBPCAD plus other exotic pairs.

Trading those with a scalper, you have to have some serious balls!

Starting this EA on my real account. Well it survived FMOC period quite well.. Still monitoring this EA with great interest .. I trade all the recommended pairs apart AUDNZD where I think the spread is too huge for scalping 😄

Today my FXCBS Platform crashed for some reason while I was "away", that's why trades are different than what it normally had to be and fortunately open trades reached the TP which simply was good luck in this case.

You're right, as far as I know other famous scalping EAs got hit several times last 2 weeks.
Nonsense!!! YOU ARE TO ALWAYS MAKE LOTS AND LOTS OF PIPS, NO MATTER WHAT! TIRED OF YOU NOT MAKING MILLIONS OF PIPS. HOW DARE YOU SIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Catch the sarcasm..?
:)
It is so easy to be critical and so hard to create your own systems or learn to trade... Life is funny that way. Imagine if life were the other way, where criticism weren't allowed and people actually had to perform (on their own!)... Responsibility, Honesty, Integrity, Hard Work! Wow, I am getting tired just thinking about it... haha...

hey, you can't pretend that the EA makes profits with strong movements like seen today for EUR pairs, remember the EA uses just 36 pips SL and it's easy to reach it but this also makes the EA safer, yesterday it made profits while other Scalping EAs were killed, maybe you're aware of that.
As someone said:
Tonight's problem was the downgrade of Ireland debt getting downgraded at 445pm just before the day rollover!!
If the EA used large SLs like others and no sliding TP then today wasn't going to happen anything considerably bad
but I prefer it the way it's now, on days like yesterday it works pretty well.
By the way, still #1 in FPA even with today's losses 😎

Expecting an EA to be able to react to unexpected news events that cause uncharacteristic behaviour is asking a bit too much in my opinion.
If you aren't happy about the occasional upset then trade manually or get an account manager. EA's are not the smartest way to avoid such events.
Or you could monitor the news yourself and turn the EA off and close your positions when something like a country downgrade is announced.

Please dun limit others' capabilities just because you can't or doesn't know how to do it. Primeval may have figure out a way to do it.

I'm not trying to limit anybodies capabilities, it's quite possible that he could figure out a way to do it.
Maybe he could write code that parses the entire Bloomberg website and cross references it against a database of words most likely to cause uncharacteristic spikes in currency pairs?

Wow! Again, I have to ask the question, why do you sell an EA? haha... I can't believe people have to put up with these types of questions. Kobebeef I am sure has his own expectations, but boy... It reminds me again why I don't sell anything beside myself.... :) :)

Thanks for the excellent EA Primeval. I've had profits 4 out of the last 5 days with both FXCBS and ATC Brokers. The key is knowing which pairs to trade and which ones not to. I put significant effort into analyzing which pairs will trade the most consistently and I'm really happy with the results I'm getting. The dynamic TP is a really great idea. Thanks Primeval!
