I'm curious, how much do you pay monthly for your collective account for comission fees? And also, where can I find fx harvester? It seems to be a decent ea.

USD 147 per month for the account, and harvester is one of Mark Marshall's projects - https://www.forexharvester.com.

Cheers

Hey, You seem to be making decent money running all these EA's @ collective. Do you think the difference is collective because You don't see many good results out there.

Andrew: hard to say whether it's down to Collective insofar as some unique feature to their live environment is concerned; rather, the key benefit for me for Collective is that the live account performance is very similar to the demo accounts, so you can test and tweak in demo and then be confident that the EA behaviour will be replicated in the live environment. The Collective spreads are good but, particularly in the Asian session, aren't amazing - but there's genuine depth behind them.

It looks like I'm running more EAs than is actually the case, as I have different magic numbers on different pairs (which I probably didn't need to do for myfxbook, but now it's done I want to keep it so I can track each EA). In fact I'm running three EAs: Harvester (trades once a week on market open, i.e. Sunday evening); Big Cat (Scalper strat i.e. more stable strat only) (trades early Asian session only, i.e. 8pm until 11pm-ish); my own EA 'EAMark' (trades early London session only, i.e. 6am until 9am). They are all intraday strategies and, as you can see, there is no crossover so I (almost) never have two EAs operating simultaneously and competing for margin.

Last point is on 'EAMark' which myfxbook records (in the graph, but not the trade records) as having taken a huge loss earlier in the summer, which is incorrect - I changed servers at that point and for some reason myfxbook rebased that EA's performance curve to zero. Doesn't really matter but makes visual comparison harder - I am very tempted to turn Big Cat off (or at least cut it back) as it's by far the most volatile but want to see some steady gains on the other EAs first. Would be interested to hear your views on Big Cat now that Noor's dropped off the map.

Reasonable results so far but let's see if I'm still going strong this time next year!

EA portfolio tweaked as of Jan 2011. Settings changed on one bad performer; some moved onto the bench in favour of more stable performers.
