I would never, and I am NOT trying to put words in Doug's mouth, but I once heard that when Einstein was asked "What was the greatest invention of the 20th century?" he replied "Compounding interest". Doug has been trading the same 3 lots for a long time, while his account balance has grown enormously. In his position I would certainly want my balance to grow exponentially. Perhaps that's what he's doing. I don't know the math, but it could be that his balance has reached the point where he can trade larger positions and not increase risk intolerably.
Just my thoughts.
Just my thoughts.

Doug, yes you had two "bad" months in the past but you recovered very fast...
For a medium/long term this is one of the best EAs that I've seem, and this is my personal opinion of course not everybody will have the same opinion.
Doug, keep improving your EA congratulations for your work

Do you dummies realize this ea did not earn ANY profit for over 6 months?
look at jan thru august 2014. TERRIBLE!
who wants that? Vortex Amateur is more like it!
Thank you for making this interesting observation which all buyers should consider.
No, an amateur would be in the market indiscriminately... like me! A true trader selects the right time to trade - better to be not making money, rather than losing money. Though this is surely discouraging.

@BluePanther how's your EA? working?
What are the parameters for this EA? Can I increase the risk of example?
thanks
No results on Demo so far. I have only had it going since Monday. Quiet week this week...

How can I backtest this EA ?
I just bought it yesterday and Doug still doesn't answer my email.
Try with EURUSD and GBPUSD (M15 & spread 10)
and it doesn't show any trade.
I had a problem with Strategy Tester on my MT4 and it took two emails and a post here before I got a response. I still haven't had the time to check it again as now I am busy with other testing, but the forward test has been working from the get-go.
Even though it was mostly things I already tried, it was nice to know how long it took for Support to respond. Don't expect it to happen immediately (he is busy working on his next BIG project I'm sure).

Woops, I hadn't checked my test account. Sorry, there were two GU trades and one open GU in profit...

(I was still in the Monday mindset... no trades at the start of this week)

to revtrader pro guy, what do you mean that time of year? 8 months jan 12 to sometime in october level was same or less.
THATS 66% of the entire year!
8 months in 2014 the equity was either where it was or less. selective is one thing but 8 months of staleness is bad.
thats good money that should be earning profits not just sitting there for 8 months. the ea was making trades during this time
they were just mostly bad ones.
if i want my account to stay the same i'll ise my LaRosa Pro EA.

Can you prove this please? It is one thing to have the official account showing no trades - quite a different thing for someone to claim there were bad trades executed during this time.
Eight months no action is a negative point, though losing money is worse. And claiming to hide this is an astounding accusation which warrants evidence.

So it made 806% the first year and 967% in the last 10 months, and that without even compounding. Is that so bad? Serious question.

Likely he has a standard. When I use an EA on a market maker account or anything not ECN I get different results on my EA's ECN is the only way to go!

Your broker is likely a market maker that's why! Make sure you have an ecn account!
IC markets offers ECN and Standard.

Me too on my ecn only one trade and same bestearobots it is strange because i have good price feed so doug must check it... Doug needs also to add some kind of breakeven taking into account commission and some kind of trade retry for brokers closed during rollover time ...
