all i can say is HF's making trades unbearable for me right now. i've already laid the complaints to 'em & my IB (he's got direct access to the CEO). Since friday, my losing trades keep closing beyond the SL value already accepted by the server

crashev, I can't tell much regarding your $ profit since you've got that locked, but based on the lot size and pips returned it looks like your running a standard/mini account (like mine), not a Currenex ECN (wakeel's). Relax, buddy, I think we all got a little b*tch-slapped this morning. In fact, you got 2 more trades than I did and BOTH were in profit! Check it out.

wakeel, no doubt we CAN run MDP during the holidays. The question is, SHOULD we and at what risk level. Notwithstanding the MQL4 backtests already run, I'd like to know what real impact we should expect running this thing at that time, volume, requotes and all. Keep in mind, MDP hit the ground mid-year this year. It's never been run live during the holidays. Something to keep in mind. 😉
well i can't say 4 now since this is the 1st time we're gonna experience trading during the holidays with mdp. lowering the risk too as u've suggested ain't a bad idea

That's the problem with MDP, it's very broker and VPS dependent. Even if you use the same broker and same VPS you may still get different results. I see your results for last couple of days have been pretty bad. But others made a killing! Check this guy's stats http://www.myfxbook.com/members/birt/million-dollar-pips/145575. His % growth went from 55% from 5-Sept to 133% on 8-Sept!

V 1.2 is better or v 1.1.6 ?
well the former just came out not quite long so it would be hard to say which is better on live. but i've changed to v1.2 already hoping to take advantage of entering with pending orders since mdp has raised the stop order limit to 3
by the way i wanna shock you all, the $200 i withdrew from my HF acc has yielded me $795 on another broker i just opened and funded last thur

Why did You put stop order to true, as far as I remember You have it set to false on hotforex account ?
in the new version mdp's stop limit is now raised to 3 (unlike the old which is 2) and hotforex's stop limit is also 3.... get the logic

wakael: Ok I got the logic.
Sorry for the maybe silly question, but You seem to have very good technical knowledge, what exactly is this Stop Limit ?
What does it mean that hotforex has stop limit = 3 and how can You tell it has 3?
Also do You have knowledge what is Additional Channels in MDP - how does it work ?
Thanks for all Your answers wakael.

stop limit is the minimum distance away from market price your broker allows u to place pending orders. For hotforex, u have to place ur pending orders @ least 3 pips away from market price (same thing with SL ,TP and trailing stops)
AC increases the frequency of the trades as illustrated in the manual i.e. opens more channels for more trades if available
