IC Markets offers some of the tightest spreads I have found with regulated ASIC brokers. The swap rates are very competitive. I've been very happy with this broker for just over 6 months now.

Trading Platforms

cTrader is a great, solid platform allowing algo and quant traders to build strategies and then run then with a number of reputable brokers. Many of the brokers available on cTrader do not offer their own APIs so without cTrader you could not execute automated trading strategies.
