(RTTNews) - At 2.00 am ET Wednesday, the Office for National Statistics has released the UK national accounts, industrial output and foreign trade figures. The pound advanced against its major rivals after the data.
The pound was trading at 163.39 against the yen, 1.1924 against the greenback, 0.8423 against the euro and 1.1703 against the franc around 2:05 am ET.
