Trading the cryptocurrencies Bitcoin,Etherium, Litecoin etc....

I already regret starting this discussion, but whatever... There is no way back now.Let me reply in the your style - Did the banks collapse with the Stock Markets joining the game? Did any of the banks collapse when Market introduced Futures, Options, CFDs?The answer is No. No, they got bigger and stronger with each new technology or Financial Instrument being introduced. So why would you expect that banks would collapse now? As I said, you do not have proper vision of what Bank is, as an Institution. The Bank is not about cash or money in any Currency. It is about relationship between two pers...

That's a Bullshit. Neither Bitcoin, nor other crypto-currency has any potential to replace current financial system. If you have some advanced knowledge about either of How Finance works nowadays, or How Blockchain technology works, you would never say that it has potential to replace the Cash.Current system is based 100% on full identification of the customer. You open an account with any bank, you have to identify yourself. You make a transaction - you again have to identify yourself. And this is done not for the Banks to make tons of money, which they definitely do. It is first of all m...

@Garbriel21 What's the size of orders your dealing with? Is it always more then 1 full lot or less?LMAX does not trade orders less then 1 lot, so if your are trading with less, it means your facing DD on the other side. Just FYI.

@wjwhite14 @price_action Thanks, I just gave a quick glance at OANDA and it looks pretty good and interesting for their free APIs. But I couldn't find their account descriptions, could you please link it for me? Thanks.

Well, the fact that you disagree doesn't change the real matter of things, hope you can agree at least to this postulate. And all the persons in your list might be professional money managers, who definitely know "fishing" well, so they can feel fish in the water, they have decent rods and all the other stuff, so OK, you might go and "hire" them to fish with your rods too and if you are lucky they will bring you food constantly. The question is how many rods can they manage to fish with? If they are as good as you say, why do they manage only millions and not billions? W...

Forget about percents and safe things when you speak of forex trading, please. There is no such a thing. Go back to work and get salary every month, that's fixed and safe.Forex is like fishing, there always is fish in the ocean, but you can not just go and get as much as you want and whenever you want. You have to hunt, you got to be patient and wait for it, and when it comes you should be ready to do everything to grab it. Once it's gone you should not chase it, just wait for the next try. That's how it works. You see fish - you grab it. If you are lucky enough you are fed, if not...

Hey, not sure it would be new Booster, due to specific requirements to US residents all brokers ask for the minimum of 2000$ deposit, I can not afford this amount to risk. :)Regarding Tallinex - this broker is in offshore zone, meaning it is not regulated by any "good" authority, so why should I open account with them when I can open one at regulated broker? For example FXCM, recommended couple of posts above is much better regulated broker with the same requirements and commissions. I just want to know why Tallinex is that popular?

I apologize, but it is dumbest plan I've ever seen... Even my 6th grade daughter can calculate it easily. Yes sir, you will be sitting on one account, the one gone from 100$ to 12,800$. The problem is that it is cent account, and all you will achieve is gathering all of your 128$ on one account, nothing more.

@Cholipop Noobs you say? But what about the pro ones, there was no gap on their charts? :) Or you split traders for noobs and pros by the direction of their trades at Monday morning? :)The MrGAP is another proof that risk management is something bigger then putting all your capital on a broker's account and rely only on SL order... Think about it.

My bad! 0.4lot per 100 pips = 400 usd, not 4000, and there are ~25pips to lose it.

100USD with 1:500 leverage = 50000USD, EUR/USD @1.25 = ~40000EUR = 0.4 lot, if you manage to catch 100pips movement it is equal to 4000USD profit :) but just 1-1.5 pips against your position and considering spread - it will blow your starting deposit in a moment.

@togr still I doubt that marketmakers use an EAs for trading. That outbalances all the trades that EAs execute at the moment.

@Matt: :)) Nice calculations, it reminded me of one of discusses with friends regarding "probability of getting XX times black/red in a row in roulette" or "probability of rolling "6" on dice XX times in a row". Although we could not get to consensus, we had distinct two versions, both were more or less good. One was doing calculations like you did and getting very small probability of doing that. Another said that each roll of the dice or roulette was separate case and probability in each case had to be calculated separately and was something like 50% for roulett...
