I've been through this too, hope you guys didn't lose too much.Just don't trust martingale strategies with no stop losses ever again. Go with single entry strategies with TP and SL for every trade.

'Over trading' is subjective, 5 trades a day could be too little for some and too much for others.I would advise to focus on only criteria-met trades instead of putting a number to the amount of trades daily/weekly.
