Sector Capital 1 - PriorFX

By the way, I have removed all my funds from my priorfx account. I hope any corrections will be deposited into the account if it turns out mistakes were made. I'm curious to see if sector 1 will continue trading in the future, but it will take a long time to get back to normal levels. I wish you all the best in your investing future.

Official statement by Priorfx:Following up on our previous correspondence regarding the GBP “Flash Crash”, we would like to inform you that our team is currently investigating all accounts affected by this unfortunate incident. The delay is due to the high amount of orders (above 250 000) that are being checked against the records provided by our liquidity providers. As we are still receiving enquiries from some of our clients we would like to offer additional clarification concerning two major issues:Why some clients were closed differently; andWhy account balances were changed afte...

My account is currently at a 52,4% loss. Interested to see how we go forward from here on out.

So what's the plan for here on out? I hope this isn't the end of trading on this account.

@Jamal20nat @phynicle There are a lot of open positions on GBPAUD. I have seen this behavior before on this system so I wouldn't be too worried.Once the positions balance out they will probably be closed.

@joey1333 @fire_kid The leverage was changed in response to heightened volatility in anticipation of and following the brexit referendum. It should be restored to normal sometime soon.@fire_kid Equity differences between email reports and myfxbook are probably due to small account size and therefore incorrect position calculation (rounded lot sizes). Same reason why equity is not yet showing in the client area.

Truly excellent trading this week. Very pleased to see no open orders during brexit.

@BP33 Any ideas on how the UK referendum could impact the system? I got some emails from priorfx about temporary reduced leverage.

@fire_kid I never really monitored live history, so I wouldn't know. I understand you want to keep track of the account but the best and most accurate way for now is probably to check the daily report in your email. Also, I'm not sure if any calculated losses or profits are accurate as long as the calculations don't take into account lots smaller than 0.01 for small accounts.

@fire_kid You should only use the second link, the first one doesn't work anymore. This has been explained in earlier comments. I'm guessing the old login/client area is/was used mainly by traders not investors. Or maybe the changes are part of the general overhaul at priorfx. Just speculating. As far as I know, top ups don't have a minimum but fees may apply. Topping up doesn't work like it did at hotforex. You should read the specifics in the client area at priorfx and in the agreements you signed.Balance update should be instantaneous. You can track the account through myfxbo...

@fire_kid I used Adobe Reader to fill out the forms, it has the option to fill out the form and insert a signature in multiple ways. For the passport/id, you fill in the same number that's on the copy that you provided to priorfx. I don't think you have to specify the kind, as it will be obvious from their copy of your documents.

@Vengence Here is the reply from priorfx:Usually on that stage you pick the bank that you sent funds in before. If you go to the following stage however you will see that is asks for all the details of the bank account that you would like us to send your withdrawal in.

I also got my new credentials but I'm confused by the new withdrawal page. It seems I have to route my funds through one of their preferred banks (swissquote, etc...) before being able to withdraw to my own bank account. I wasn't planning on withdrawing soon but I like to know what I can expect when I do.I have sent priorfx an email regarding this issue, but I would to know if anybody here has any info on this.

@BP33 Yep, that was it. Everything seems to be working fine now. However, I currently have a drawdown of around 40% but if I read the previous comments right, that is due to my account being allocated lots smaller than 0.01 and priorfx isn't taking that into account when calculating equity and margin.

I have registered and have been approved for an account at priorfx. I also filled in the appropriate forms and got an email confirming that my account is connected to the sector 1 system but I cannot find any reference to this in the client area.I have not yet deposited any funds in the account. Will any funds I deposit automatically be used for trading or do I have to do something else?

@BP33 I agree completely. Out of all the PAMMs I have been involved with, yours has consistently kept equity and balance very closely correlated. My other two PAMM accounts are 60% in drawdown and frankly I don't see them recovering from it. Even though my balance and equity aren't as high as it was at the beginning of last week I am still well in profit. I hope Hotforex resolves the withdrawal problems soon so I have the funds available to make the move to your new broker.Thank you for handling the account in a professional no-nonsense manner.

Here's an excerpt from my chat with Hotforex regarding withdrawals:Olly: Welcome to Hotforex, how may I help you?me: Hi Olly, I'm trying to remove funds from my PAMM 112993 but it's says "Balance operations have been temporary disabled on this PAMM Manager account."Olly: kindly be informed that at the moment the pamm is undergoing an urgent maintenance and service will resume as soon as possible. Apologize for an inconvenience cause and thank you for your patiencemes: Any ideas on when the maintenance will be completed?Olly: unfortunately i cannot specify the exact time h...
