Hi everyone. I have taken the system offline to inspect and investigate my coding which caused a TP on one of the pairs (AUDUSD) to globally close all trades, regardless profit or loss. Obviously, this isn't part of the plan, because my personal lost profit exceeds any performance commission from the PAMM followers. This arose in my excitement to use my new profit calculation algorithm to generate more profit to cover lost ground from the previous glitch - when I should have instead subjected it for longer private testing. Fortunately, majority of my PAMM followers are ultimately profitabl...

No actually, existing members of my Binary or Forex masterminds can receive my bare-bones EA and trade with $300-500, with their own optimizations. But other than that, contact through my page http://thebinarylab.net/forexea. it's minimum $1000, and commission on profit is 30%

To all tracking this account, I'd like to account for today's -3.73% - this was a glitch where my loss protection feature executed on all pairs - not just the chart it was applied to. I am reviewing this with my programmer and will be fixed in the soonest time. However, we should be able to cover lost ground by an improvement on how the take profit is done. I have a new feature to let the winners run, rather than to be exited at intervals, which may cause it to lose out on bigger profits in the event of a big market move if it had to wait for the next 15min bar to enter a new trade.

That's a very naive remark. You should actually look at the comparative drawdowns between the main Forex Envy system and Tom's EA.The recent Euro free-fall has really shown up the flaws in Tom's EA, while it also serves to enforce how effective Forex Envy is in managing such situations. Largely, this is in Envy's diversification into 9 currencies, and not forgetting the very powerful "Basket Take Profit" whereby lot sizes are precisely calculated such that no matter how many levels in trades opening, the EA is able to maintain the same low BTP, which helps trades clos...

For Tom's EA i don't think there's any point in 1000:1, you'll be margin called before you can even use that much of the leverage. 300:1 or 400:1 is really good enough.

I would like to think that last week's bulls was merely a pullback on the bear trend, and that this week will be the continuation.

D1 chart shows room for further downs. H1 and H4 seem out of steam. What are you guys doing?

i think the past few days has said enough about their concept. Indeed, big lots to nullify earlier small ones. But from a risk management point of view, they should be there to defuse risk faster, and not add to it.

The issue is not so much spiraling the lot size. Arguably, this is the only trading style nowadays other than scalping, that is able to profit regardless of market condition. BUT! the more important question is why is there no built-in Trailing Stop feature to lock-in profits for the biggest lots, before they fall back into deeper DD, and re-enter the trades if they return to the threshhold again. We could have made much money over the past 3 days had there been a 15 pip trailing stop

@Tradingshed, this is new territory for me too, so I can't comment. But I assume that for the next (touch wood), 2-3 trades, it will be 0.06 increments as well, and 0.09 thereafter. What I did was Stopped EA trading, and been re-entering the largest lot with 15 pip trailing stop. Rather effective and limiting risk at the same time.http://www.myfxbook.com/files/forexpipmaker/Screen_shot_20120201_at_AM_01.49.17_7J.png

If you read the v1.89 release notes, you will realise that deactivation only means it will not open another basket of trades. However, it will continue to add positions and manage the current basket. If you want to override the EA, you need to press the "stop EA trading" button on MT4 toolbar

Nonetheless, Sive Morten's analysis parallels my earlier technical review. Price should easily push to neckline of 1.3050 if no further news to derail us.

The last time SNB did the currency peg, EURUSD fell from 1.4284 to 1.3627. Down 600 pips. That's good for us.

Price has found stability at 86.6% retrace, and seemed to be gathering momentum down. Thinks that worked in our favor:- Eurozone Jobless figures hitting all-time highs in Dec 2011, since 1998.- Spain current account deficit- Eurozone banks seeking to double their emergency funding with loans from the ECB.

Here's a technical chart that may provide some relief. http://www.myfxbook.com/files/forexpipmaker/Screen_shot_20120131_at_PM_01.13.09_Ch.png-Yesterday’s low of 1.3074 was the result of reduced confidencein the Greece, affecting the Euro.-Today’s rebound is due to Greek Govt pledging to cooperateand improve debt management. We are supported by an implied USD rally from recent lows andweakening in the recent Gold rally. At present moment in writing, EURUSD seems to be troubledin taking price past 1.32. Let’s all hope the H&S pattern completes.Technical Review:This is...

A friend of mine had the same problem. I suspect the Tradency system has a Max DD feature enabled. The live account showed here is more likely running on MT4 without Max DD enabled.

Even so, better safe than sorry. I have alot of interest in martingale EAs. At the moment I'm using a low yielding martingale hybrid to pay off my home mortgage installments. Looking for something aggressive to use small money to make large returns with.Do you ever use optImization Akmal? Or just experiment?
