Did Eplanet Brokers Scam Me by Reducing My Leverage Without Warning?
in
Experienced Traders
May 01 at 15:39
I opened a trading account with eplanetbrokers and picked 1:500 leverage when setting up my account, and it was confirmed and displayed correctly. But after my trading volume grew (around 5 lots), I realized the broker suddenly cut my leverage down to 1:100 without any prior notice or explanation — even though the platform still shows 1:500 at the top right corner! When I contacted support, they said the broker lowers the leverage as the position size increases.Has anyone else here experienced something like this? And do you think this is even legal?
