That's true. I just hope the range will end next week. It feels like it's been going on forever.

There is also a pretty detailed economic calendar right here on Myfxbook, for that matter.

I just closed a short at 0.8920 - I took only 15 pips but it's better than nothing in this range.

Three years is a very long time, even for a long term analysis. I think that at best there will be a drop to 0.7000.

I couldn't agree more. I realized what a bad idea that was in my earliest days as a newbie.

I've been out all day and I saw it just a few minutes ago. Clearly there won't be any more rally for now.

I closed my long on EUR/GBP at 0.8880 as I had planned. Do you think it will continue rising, Kieran?
Forex is profitable ?

Forex is a profitable business for the brokers. For traders it can be profitable, but in order to become so one needs to spend a lot of time and energy learning and practising. 90% - 95% of traders lose money and not being part of that group is pretty difficult to achieve.

Bonuses can be good for training purposes, since you're not trading with your own money but you are trading with real money. Apart from that, however, I'd rather not use them.

Price doesn't just move that much during such news, spreads often get incredibly wide too, which adds to the problem.

An update on the situation in India - S. Ganesh Kumar, a director of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the country’s c-bank and main financial regulator, said that the country would not recognize the Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency as a legal tender.“Our current position on bitcoins is that we will not be using it for any payments and settlements…though the technology underlying crypto-currencies will not end”, said Kumar at a banking conference in Mumbai, quoted by local media. I just closed a long position at 0.8912 and got about 30 pips out of it. It could rise more but, as I said, I am not good at keeping long-term positions.

This is one of the problems of learning alone, I suppose. You form the bad habit and there's no one to point it out to you while you're still forming it so you can fix it on time.

I don't open any positions when I am out and about too, there's no point in taking such a risk. One could watch over their positions on their phone, I guess, but it's hard to concentrate when you're busy with other things.

I wouldn't call the Indian government a dictatorship, but they are planning on closing the local cryptocurrency exchanges in an attempt to curb money laundering. (https://www.forexbrokerz.com/news/India-to-crack-down-on-local-bitcoin-exchanges) It is worth noting that the authorities in China – the largest cryptocurrency market in the world – have taken similar measures and have ordered the local exchanges to cease their activities and banned trading between altcoins and the CNY in an attempt to impose tighter control on the national currency movements and price. The South Korea...
