Great advice. I too, though, would say that there’s no need to stick to MT4 alone, there are plenty of platforms one can choose from, depending on what they need.

Speaking of scams and binary options, let me quote the testimony of a former binary options broker employee who gave a testimony at the Israeli parliamentary hearings: “No customer ever made a profit in the company where I worked. I never saw it”. (https://smnweekly.com/2017/01/03/ex-binary-options-broker-employee-no-customer-ever-made-a-profit-in-the-company-where-i-worked/) It’s awful, but not surprising.

Keeping a level head is not the same as killing one’s emotions, it’s simply learning self-control for one’s own good.

The problem with maintaining a losing position is that it’s hard to tell whether it really is a losing position or whether one needs to be patient until the market turns around, as it often does.

Some good news for people trading with American brokers - The National Futures Association (NFA), the self-regulatory organization overseeing the activities of the US forex brokers, said its new rules on disclosure of transaction data have been approved by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and will come into effect as of March 31, 2017. These rules will enable US retail traders to gain access to transaction data and to review the quality of execution. That’s true for pretty much any job one could have, not just Forex trading. But it’s still better to be motivated. One gets better results this way.
