That depends on whatever news come out in the next weeks.

That is why when one trades on demo they should trade in the same way they would trade with their real account. Otherwise there's no point to the whole exercise.

Traders really need to learn early on that Forex is more of a marathon than a sprint. If you try to sprint you'll just fall on your face more often than not.

Don't execution times differ between live accounts and demo accounts though?

It broke below 0.8700 again, next target is likely 0.8670.

I wouldn't touch binary options with a ten-foot pole. It's full of unregulated brokers - if they can be called brokers and not outright scammers, though the latter term is more suitable anyway. Even ESMA issued a warning about them and their shady practices (https://smnweekly.com/2016/07/26/esma-cfds-forex-binaries-risky-speculative-high-risk-loss/) - like cold calling and luring gullible people to “invest” their life savings, promising easy profits. If a person's interested in trading it's best to work with a well-regulated, licensed broker they've researched e...

Thank you for the advice, both of you. Now I have got to figure out how to make it work in real life. I don't think I can change overnight, but I'm definitely going to work on myself.

To me it's very unclear at the moment, there's no reliable signal on any time frame.

My psychology was a problem even when I was using an EA, to be honest. The lack of control actually made my anxiety worse.

For now it's still testing 100.00. I hope next time it will finally break below it.

How fx manager get investors?

Aug 13, 2016 at 10:57
Occasionally they get investors through fraud. Take the case of Haena Park, for example. (https://smnweekly.com/2016/06/03/sec-prosecution-charge-new-york-forex-broker-with-fraud-faces-up-to-20-years-in-jail/). According to SEC, she used a Ponzi-like scheme and raised at least $14 million from more than 30 investors since 2012. Over the same period, she lost more than $16 million from trading in forex and futures. Park bragged she has profitable futures and forex trading strategies and solicited her friends, family, former Harvard classmates and people connected to them. Then she pooled invest...

If the issue is psychology, doesn't that mean that the problem is within the trader, not within the platform? The platform is just code and mathematics, psychology doesn't factor in it.

While I have little doubt it will reach $1400 eventually, for now it looks like there will be a lengthly sideways consolidation period.

I agree - learning on a demo account at first is vital and just plain common sense. My other advice would be to always have a trading plan and never to open positions impulsively.

It's still quite bearish. It even broke below the previous low. I think it will continue falling without a retracement for now.

Regarding EUR/GBP, it has almost reached the previous high at 0.8626. I'm waiting to see whether it will form a double top or it will continue rising above that level.

That depends on the high impact events. For example, before the NFP I'd close my USD-related positions, before a BoE announcement I'd close my GBP-related positions. And so on and so forth.
