That’s right and in addition to timely entry/exit, I think keeping control on one’s emotions is another tough job to handle in forex. Mostly traders fail here.

1% risk

The amount of risk mentioned here, that is 1%, is good enough. But I don’t think its feasible enough to stick to one risk level while trading forex. The markets keep moving and so we have to adjust ourselves accordingly, only then can we have good profits here.

That’s right, patience is the foremost important trait to be a successful trader. Nevertheless, I think being rational is also a major requirement, people always tend to be greedy while trading and end up making just losses.

I agree with you. Even I think that the first step after one’s done with the learning part, should be using a demo account. That makes one aware of the practicality of this field, which is a great help when one starts with a real account to trade.
Control your greed.

Greed, definitely is the most serious problem while trading. Earning consistent profits becomes too difficult for anyone who gets into its trap. I think the best way to trade without being greedy is to follow a trading plan with strict entry-exit points. This will restrict you to a particular level of trading and won’t let you over trade because of greediness.

Couldn’t agree more, this proverb is just right. I also think that nobody can achieve success until one knows how to use failure to one’s benefit. Giving up is no solution here for sure.

That’s for the basic reason that they want quick money and the offers that these scammers throw definitely make you see huge earning potentials in there. Beginners just get trapped because they think that they will really be able to make money with them.
Quit from trading ?

Quitting is no option as well, every trader should try to become better with losses, learn from them, rather than just avoid them and quit.

This shouldn’t be done. The basic motive of setting a SL is to cut out the emotional interference in trading, but if a trader does all this, he definitely is getting affected by his emotions, that is why they doing all this. So the main motive of setting a SL is gone.

See trading is something that’s similar for every field, however if you compare stocks and forex, do watch out for the big volatility difference between the two. No same strategy will work for both these markets, so be careful. The concept behind stock market and forex is completely different.

Well according to me, its all about personal preference. Some understand it better with books, while for others your idea may be better. Can’t say anything as such.

Sometimes yes, but otherwise most of the times, fear causes you to panic and thus, increase your losses.
